Some one local to me had a silver shogun evolution scrapped under the scrappage scheme but they kept it and sold it to someone who will have to re shell it. What could happen to them knowing this?

Very expensive for a old shape facelift -
Anyway lets keep on topic

You ever raced one to prove it bud? We can talk statistics all day. I know how to drive I've tracked in a lot of cars quicker than my starlet. For a diesel they are quick that's all I'm saying.
-
M5 it's a diesel mate?
-
Some of these 535d's run over 720 pounds of torque when remapped. Here is a 535d vs m5 >http://youtu.be/ibvb3rF8Yi8

240bhp mate
-
Yeah your right bud... But I just think the Scrappage Scheme has ruined everything. I bet most people went ahead not knowing what they were scrapping thinking it was worthless when it was not!
-
Thanks both looking good. The white Glanza is the first Imported one hey!

A few things though. Money in the 1990's had value and when you bought a car then you know that was hard earned money that bought it and so appreciated it more unlike these new cars so common. Second all these new cars are all computerised, all diagnostic machines and all so no more 10mm spanner to fix anything lol. Thirdly some of these new cars would beat our old cars and are more reliable especially my mate ate my Glanza he had a remapped 535d twin turbo runnin stupid torque. He was only like 19 so I felt stupid he bought the car and spent 450 on a remap and that's it. Also the new Astra

I have been a car enthusiast like all of you lot on here for years. I am sad all I see is young kids in financed new vehicles and all cars are starting to look the same. All old cars are going very cheap at the moment too. The old cars are the proper cars! The scrappage sceme screwed everything up completely there are hardly any scrapyards now either like there once was! I miss seeing cossies on the motorway and pointing them out. Everything is becoming scarce to replace cars that anyone can have. Anyone else feel the same way?

Lancer evo owners club. Still going on haha... http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=467021 -
That's my old duck spoiler

Get a pic of her Glanza v up too side by side with the sleeper!
-
Yep only for mot and to move the car around that way will save me the current 3 points a tyre lol Will get some conti's on it once I start driving it regularly. That time in between will give me time to find a bargain set of tyres or even a cheap set of alloys for it that come with excellent tyres lol ;)

I understand bud but I thought he might have tinkered and completely changed the ratios reinforced it and it would be solid with a custom made box

What about a corolla g6r gearbox? They are 6 speed and fit a starlet?
