is there any differences between the auto and manual engines? like the crank or anything? been offered a couple engines as mine pooed itself, one of them is from an auto so wasnt sure!!

a few people have told me it might just be the head gasket, cause all my water disappeared, no smoke out the back which is what happens when pistons go, blew smoke out the rocker breather, plus oil, but i could be wrong, im ripping the head out tomorrow to have a look and we'll see

right, took all the plugs out and tested it, from 1st to 4th cylinder it went 120psi, 90psi, 70psi, 120psi

and also theres smoke coming from the rocker breather if i rev it, mean anything?

but why didnt it lose any power even after it started pissing?

it was over fuelling big time when my lambda sensor was raped, when i sorted that it ran much smoother, have an TD fuel pump, fpr set up, and checking my plugs near enough every day and it looks like its fuelling perfectly

well it definitely isnt running lean, it boosts like mad though which throws me off? maybe i put more oil in that i should have? ahhh so many things, so time consuming, its a good thing im dedicated to this car or id already be looking at a standard run around car...

no lights came on, Im pretty sure it was coming from the breather but i could be wrong cause the light i had was shit, i need day light tomorrow, so gutting though Ive had a lot of faith in this car i didnt think itd go on me, surely if it was the turbo oil feed or return the oil would be going down and not all over the top of the engine and inlet ? :/ why would the revs suddenly drop though?

ill do it in the morning dude, is that all it could be? how comes it hasnt lost any power or anything? so worried ive just dropped myself into a big pit of debt

went out tonight for a spin, checked my oil to see it was below the minimum mark so i topped it up with around 3 quarter litres, checked it on the dipstick and was about half way, after about 20mins i stopped in neutral, engine revs dropped to around 400-600rpm smoke coming from the bonnet, popped it up to find oil gushing out the rocker breather EVERYWHERE, engine sounded fine, it drove fine, tested the boost to see if it lost power and it didnt, my dad reckons ive done all the seals in my engine, so fucking stressed right now, what can it be?!

Boost controller solenoid problem (possibly)

when i have the time and patience ill have a good look at it, anything electric does my head in haha will test the current and voltage of the plug and loom going into the solenoid, maybe a dodgy connection -
after a few tests to see what was causing my boost controller to not work Im at the conclusion its my solenoid as it doesnt click like it should when its on, running an apexi avcr, its all wired up correctly as it has worked in the past, hmmm?

i used to race rotax nationally mate been kart racing for 9 years rotax motors need to be rebuilt every 25 or so hours (if you want a competitive engine for racing) due to the compression, its only ever the barrel that needs honing and new piston rings usually, doesnt cost a lot either, used to have separate engines for testing and racing and our test engine had like 50 hours on it at one point and was still good lol! racing is so expensive though used to have a 15k a year budget which wasnt always enough :/ -
yeah thats all i was wondering cause ive seen some of the cracks and blow outs from some of the counterfeits, i do love cornering though which might be an issue lol imagine my front wheel just imploding on itself xO
