My friend has a tdo4 turbo.he built a project corolla powered by 1nzfe and turbo it.but the car crashed and the turbo's shaft is bent but nothing else is damaged.he is asking 250$ for it.is it worth buying it? He told me to buy a full rebuild kit with shaft for 120$ to make the turbo live again. What u guys thing? Should i go for it?

4 bars? = 57 psi? r u serious! i hv heard it cn take 17 psi on tdo4 safely.it so confusing!

My engine is 5efhe.going to turbo it.will replace the piston with 4efte one.it will be running on ct9.i want to know if i get a cr like 4efte engine would it start up normaly with 4efte ecu?

I hv got an intercooler from pajero 2800 turbo.i want to know if it is enough for my 5efte running on ct9? Will be mounting in front.

What is the max diamter for na and min diameter for a turbo exhaust piping? I m running na now.want to do my exhaust.will go turbo lately.but dont want to do the piping again! Would 2.5 inch enough for both turbo and na? If i do 3 inch would i lose back pressure?

How to repair a ct9 turbo if it has shaft play? Would rebuilding it with new internals excluding the fans and shaft fix it?

I have in my ep82 but running it with 4efe ma sereis ecu.without the acis.

I wanted to use the c56 tranny with my 5efhe,but as the flywheel prob i decieded to go for c155 the original 5efhe one. But my ques is, 1) is all the c155 lsd? I knw the oem lsd casing is outside, shaft(driver side short) and rear mount is different than non lsd box.but dont if all of them are lsd or not. MY MAIN QUES IS 2)how to identify c155 box by inspecting physically?i have searched a lot but nothing found.photos in google seems like c52 box.so much confusing! Help me pls!

As for 4e i knw c52 and c56 is the best.but as it doesnt bolt into 5e for the crank bolt pattern being different, so what is the the best gearbox for 5e? Looking for low end torque and high end hp with minimal rpm drop in changing gears. My core ques is: 1)What is the name of the box? 2)And how to identify it?(with pics would be better)

Which engine pulls and performs best stock?overall which engine will take lead?

My tranny is auto now.want to go manual.and would like to use c56 or c52 gear box.but i have read here the bolt pattern are different in 4e and 5e, though both of them accepts 6bolts.i dont want to redrill the flywheel or get costly aftermarket one.in my country 3ete flywheel is not available and also i dont want to change the crank either. I know i hv denied all the possible way but is there any scope to get these working changing the bell housing? Or is there any similar or same ratio tranny for 5efhe? Help me pls!

Its very easy mate.i did it my self, so you also can. The main thing is you need to hook up the wires with your car's parking positive and negative. As far as i remember the parking is in c module, the smallest clip behind your cluster.hope that helps.

As i am also building a 5efte engine, and with so many researches i have done yet i came to know that if i use 5e rod and 5e piston or 5e rod and 4e piston i need to shave the piston to match the cr of 4efte as i will use its ecu and electronics.but if i dont want to take risk of shaving piston, i need to use 5e rod and 4efte piston with 2mm head gasket. I think the car here was build with the same spec.

What is the optimum tyre pressure for 175/70/13 ? For max grip.i knw these are small, will get 15'' when budget allows.thanx in advance.

As 5efhe is a distributer type engine. I want to go coilpacks to increase its performance.but i dont have any idea how to do it.as far as i knw, it will help me sufficiently to ignite at higher rev. Help me pls! How to do it and from which car i can use as replacement?
