So this weekend I got the parcel shelf fitted! :)and I got the loom out of the rear quarter which was a challenge to say the least. Finding the loom was the easy part, but putting the plastics back in with out braking any trim clips was the hard part! To get the loom through the plastics I just got hole drill bit cutter and cut a hole through it. However the speakers sound so much better now! and you don't have to turn your volume right up to hear the radio I also think it looks quite cool too. I also trial fitted my front splitter, I just need to get some self tapping screws and cut a couple of holes in the front bumper to put the slats through! I also had a look at fitting my 96 spec clear side repeaters, I didn't think they looked right just grey so I opened them up, cleaned the 17 years worth of mud and dirt out of them and painted the silver bit black I think it gives the car a bit of a meaner look but I'm undecided on whether I want to fit them yet as I think the amber corners suit the red starlets better! I would sell them for the right price though ;) so If anyone is wanting a set send me a PM with an offer! Just grey insides painted black I also gave the car a good clean up as it was absolutely pitted in mud and sand! one when I was washing it and caught the Capri in the background Lee !

So, not much progress with the car at the minute! but the other night I went and picked up and OEM parcel shelf with OEM Sony speakers and a front splitter from pinske! so they shall be fitted soon! I'll have to find the loom for the shelf first though! and also some 96 spec clear corners arrived thanks to Socks for those! so I'll be getting them fitted at some point as well Pictures will follow soon! Lee

So, little bit of an update! Last weekend I got my new speakers fitted in, they're a lot better than the standard ones, sound much better and are a lot clearer! they don't look the best but you cant see them in the car and they were FREE! Also last weekend I bought a meguiars clay bar kit and did a small patch on the bonnet and to be fair its done a good job Today I gave the car a good clean up, T-cut, clay barred and polished her because the paint was fading back again slightly in places! but its looking good once again It's going in for its MOT this week so hopefully it'll pass no bother:) and also its my birthday in the next couple of days so any money I get will obviously be spent on the starlet ;) Front splitter should be getting ordered in the next week or so and hopefully a jap can backbox and a rolla mani I'll also be fitting the import plate I have on the front at some point! So, not much to update you on at the minute, but this week I've stone chip protected the underside of the starlet and also given the axle a lick of paint! I've given the interior a good clean up,polished the car again and got some new aero style wiper blades fitted. Tomorrow I should be fitting some new speakers to replace the originals and painting the callipers and wiper arms just to tidy them up a little bit! Modifications should be becoming more frequent now as I've just started a new job ! Next things I plant to do are,order a front splitter and a new can style backbox so I can get rid of the pea shooter! They should be ordered pretty soon! I'm also planning to: - Lower it on Tein springs or if funds allow, coilovers! - Get an OEM parcel shelf with speakers built in - 100% brighter bulbs or similar - Clear corners and side repeaters - Iridium spark plugs These will hopefully all get done over the next few months! Cheers Guys! I think I'll invest in a set of clear corners then! Has anyone got any pictures of the insides of the unit painted and pics of how they look on the car? Cheers
