Absolute stunner of a weekend, better than last years JAE I have to say! Bigger and better, always the UKSC way! Many thanks to Rob and Mrs Rob for the effort and time you've put into this, as well as everyone else who had a part in making it happen this year. Thanks to everyone for being top people to talk to and chat with, even if I didn't talk much It was good to see some new faces there and some of the more established names I hadn't met before (SiCaln, Nanglebadger) Saturday night was one of the best nights I've had in some time, shame about our sound system getting turned off. Just a small question however; Geo, what were you doing on the side of the M6??

Oh. *makes up an excuse about how he's deaf and I never heard you brah* EDIT: Look at my sig. Happy now?

Kinda industrial sounding hiphop. Brilliant stuff

Oh god, spending spree at tesco and buying every bottle of Katy they have then!

I know, I know, all my money and effort have been spent on the GT, really want to get it onto the road soon now. Also, if you call me Bluebell at JAE, I will piss in your petrol tank.

Mate, pop-up tents is where it's at, get with the times!

You want an epic AE86 video? Try this one on for size...
-
Looking good there Paul.. and Luke Looking forward to wandering around this at JAE!
-
Wish I could but I'm bang up to my overdraft! Getting paid before JAE, but it'll be no use for the marquee then

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THREAD REVIVAL. With the GT not being done for JAE, I decided to spend a little time on the N/A to get it looking somewhat better. These are also things I said I'd do about 5 million years ago. Drums hammerited Solida badges off (No strips off however, I like them too much.) And attempting to do something with the lips on the Slipstreams, currently trying to blend everything in with some fine sandpaper. It'll still look a bit patchy, but at least it wont be a mess of white cracked laquer everywhere. I also got two of the tyres replaced for Toyo T1R's, as the previous were very close to the legal limit.

Hah, not entirely sure, all depends on how the weather is whenever me and dad get chances to work on it! No garage ftl.

Welp, the engine went in on Sunday afternoon, much easier getting it in than we thought. Got the majority of all the connections and whatnot connected. Dat ass. Dat ground clearance. Engine ready to be slid under the bay. Engine in! ---- OK, need some help here guys if you don't mind. Most of what I'm about to ask were loose in the bay when we got the car, so we don't know where everything goes. Looking at the electrics 'rail', theres two groups of two cables that I'm unsure of where they go. - Gray plug and earth; does the plug go onto the socket on the inlet mani? Where does the earth bolt onto? - Another gray plug which is a bit battered, and another darker gray plug; where do these go? Also come from the same area as the two wires above. - Where on earth does this bolt onto on the bulkhead? I know some piping goes to the charcoal filter, but which, and where do the others go? - Moving to above the gearbox, there looks like a slipon metal connector like others in the same area, but am flummoxed as to where this goes. And finally, what should be bolted onto the areas I've circled?

Hah Steve, yes I played it a bit Story is brilliant quality, but just too short. I was always expecting it to be linear, as was Mafia, but the lack of side missions is disappointing. In the first Mafia, you could go to a mechanic who would have a job for you after you completed main story missions. I find combat to be very solid, and driving is a hoot. The attention to detail in the actual game is nothing less than amazing, its a full city, open from the very start, and there would be places you'd never go to, but have no less attention on the look of it. I would, however, wait for it to come down in price. Its good, very good, but not at the price it is atm. Try and find it for 10-15 quid or so cheaper.

New clutch release bearing fitted, and the clutch and gearbox are now on, as in the starter motor. All coming together now. Engine crane is in Dad's van, hopefully get it dropped in tomorrow! Piccies: The old clutch! Plenty of meat left Clutch on No pics of the gearbox on however
