I saw an import Subaru legacy with with one number different to my Reg the other day -
Well, gearbox is back in. Wasn't expecting the clutch to rattle that much lol also making some adjustments to the seat rail to lower the seating position by 2 or 3 inches

Well the clutch arrived safe and well. Hopefully going to fit it Wednesday and chuck the box back in

So gearbox is all repaired, just waiting for my clutch to arrive....also purchased a new front mount filter for the td04. Considering getting a civic rad to free up some space!

Cheers mate, I have two good condition donor boxes but both have broken casing so not short on bits

It's worth a shout to be honest, dependant on price and how long they take to get here. The gearbox was very smooth though

So today we started swapping the input shafts over, gears and synchros all look in good condition, going to install new input and output bearings too.

Had to go and buy a ratchet strap to hold he engine in for a little while while the gearbox is out Off we go to get sorted

So I bit the bullet and ordered an Orc clutch from Jayj, tookthe gearboxes to my mate to get sorted along with new input and output bearings, hoping to be back on the road next week

Hmm that's odd I only thought they where good for 220 ish. I was running one on my ct9 setup. Didn't think it could handle that power at all

Yeah the Orc is about £460 on rhd Japan, but with import charges etc who knows what it's Gona be, I don't know wether to chance another spec, as plenty of people run them without issue
