Firstly, i know manual boost controllers aren't the best but it is tempoary until a get a ebc. The 0.3bar wastegate spring isnt cutting it. And i want a bit more boost for the drive down to japfest. Also i know this has been covered before, and im aware how to fit a two point controller. My friend gave me a controller that looks like this I need some instructions on where to plug the vac lines to and from. Cheers

Will do bud, pulls really well at 0.3 to be fair! On another note, doubt my wheels will be ready for japfest which sucks. Car looks shit atm which is putting me off going -
Bump for info

From what ive read it has never been comfirmed. Also just because they are thicker doesn't neccessairly make them stronger

Not even 0.4, boost gauge is showing around 0.25 haha. Spring should be 0.4. Yup stock fueling, have a wideband and all is fine on boost. Plan to up it up to fuel cut checking the wideband along the way. Turbo pulls amazing through the revs, alot better than a cr9 -
I'd look over them with a fine tooth comb. I drove to see mine twice. The second time i went down to buy it the 'owner' was at work. Had to deal with his brothers. Bit of a time waster. Also take what he says with a pinch of salt. He told me he was selling mine as his gf couldn't learn to drive in it. That turned out to be bullshit

They're are Vrii or something like that. Pretty sure he was banned or left the forum because he was caught out buying starlets cheap and selling them on for more. Sold a few dodgy ones and a few good ones. I bought mine off him and has been fine. But if id had known what he was doing i wouldnt have

Looking to get some new wheel nuts before japfest. Mine are the D1 spec and most probably fake.any recommendations of good makes and where to get them, don't really want to spend more than £40

I recently replaced my passenger side shaft as the cv joints were gone. Few weeks after i noticed a clunking noise only when accelerating sharply in low gears. Went under the car and found there is inwards and outwards play in the green cup(inner cv?) is this normally or will it need replacing again?

No idea tbh! Just standard from a forester -
Black smoke, exhaust poping like a cannon and boost drop.

Sounds like fuel cut, even with a fcd -

Couple of days on the tf and i love it. Turbo spools up a bit slower if not as quick as my old ct9 and pulls the whole way through the revs unlike before. Only on 0.4 bar too. Quick bay shot Need to sort the rad out but was a temp fix for £20 from a scrappy. The wastegate port on the manifold is too long and caught the fan and radiator so took some bodging. Not really sure how to get round it otherwise. Even just avoids a half rad -
Is it the one with an external wastegate? You'll need the decat that comes with the kit, the mani moves the turbo from standard position so my not line up.

Finally got it all running. The fitment for the flange on the manifold was absolutely shocking. The wastegate wouldn't fit without hitting the fan. Even went to a scrappie and bought a civic rad. Still hit the fan. Had to cut the fan done to stand any chance. Little taster video, sounds ALOT different than ct9. Only 0.4bar atm http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u578/Ollie_Haynes/313BFE5D-F1C6-4D11-ABB9-66D424F3AC2E-50635-00001BFFBC3A7C37_zpsb0f66d1c.mp4 -
Id say its worth a bit more than that? Depending on the mileage etc

Haven't heard many opinions on tfs tbf. Glad you like it!! Keen to see what it'll be like. Turbo was only £60 so alot less than a ct9 hybrid
