Take wheel off, pull pin put of shaft. 30mm socket on the driveshaft nut undo that. Then undo the two 19mm bolts fron the strut disconnecting it from the hub. Once thats done you can move the hub so the shaft comes free. You can then pull it out the joint without removing the whole thing from the gearbox. An outer you may even be able to do with a cv boot tool without pulling it out
