  1. Jack car up and take the wheel off. Use a breaker bar to remove the centre nut on the driveshaft, you'll need a 30mm socket(will have to remove the pin first'. Then undo the two bolts holding hub to strut and should be able to lever the driveshaft out by pulling the hub away. Then use a crowbar or or similar to tap the shaft out the gearbox. When the shaft is off you can buy a kit with a cone that allows you to but a boot on without removing cv joints. Then repeat
  2. Okay to chop the wiring off too?
  3. Can i take both these sensors off?
  4. Your gettig wastegates and dumpvalves confused. Wastegate controls boost by 'venting exhaust gas' dumpvalve releases pressure when closing the throttle
  5. i'll have a WEPR ct9 power up kit, externally gated for sale soon. Don't know if you'd be interested at all?its heatwrapped mild steel
  6. i have a similar noise but continues with the clutch down and on/off throttle, Noise sounds sort of like a humming noise and can hear it vibrate through the floor sounds like a wheel bearing but wasn't mentioned on MOT?
  7. i'll be selling a wepr upkit soon. Mild steel but awesome quality and looks great heatwrapped. Also is external gated so don't have to deal with the typical ct9 boost creep. Kit comes with braided oil feed, manifold, braced decat custom to new turbo position and a screamer pipe(no wastegate). Looking for around £280
  8. Standard rad friendly ideally
  9. sweet!! change of plans then, have a wideband on the way so can keep an eye on things
  10. As above, with or without a wastegate as i have one from my ct9 setup. Budget around £400-£450
  11. Getting pretty bored of my setup atm and want a bit more power. I have about £400 to £500 to spend within the next month. My choices are to :buy a td04 setup and run that at low boost while saving for management or :buy a plug and play ecu and run my current ct9 setup at a bar and save for a turbo kit and management and then sell the plug and play If i was to buy a TD04 kit and run that at 0.7bar what will the power be like compared to a ct9 with plug and play be like?
  12. Look in the wiki section, theres tuning guides in stages in there
  13. As said on facebook dude, im in Gloucester. Got experienece of fitting most parts myself and can lend a hand. As for mapping theres powerstation in Tewskbury with a good rep and badger 5 in stonehouse map and rolling road.

    JAM ECU

I brought a unbranded one off ebay, reset it left it to idle for 30mins and still didn't idle properly. Car also drove like shit and would just die under load. Even a few miles didnt help
  15. It may help but from my experience you'll still experience it
  16. So i guess the other wire on the pressure sender is a earth too
  17. Gonne tackle my oil pressure. Oil temp and water temp gauges today. Just untangled them all and need some clarification. The oil pressure and oil temp wires join. These look like they connect to the two wires coming from the pressure sender Just wondered what plugs into the other two wires from the other 'sensor' in the sandwich plate
