  1. Fair enough, mine used to sound like that when booting it and i thought it was a leak. Then the turbo completely died, shitting oil all in the intercooler pipes
  2. theres a TOMS on ebay for £110 buy it now
  3. around 6-9 secs that sounds like a leak to me. Sounds too high pitch to be spool. Didn't you have a problem with a leaking dumpvalve?
  4. To fit mine: i jacked it up and fitted from underneath, attach to the turbo and bolt up loosely then attach the other end to oil feed on the block. Tighten them all up
  5. you should only be able to turn one bit? The end with the hole or pin that connects to the turbo should spin to adjust length
  6. Just run it at 0.8 bar, and save up for either one. Will probably run better and actually be faster than at 0.85bar
  7. think i have some lined up locally, ill give you a shout if not
  8. coilovers needed pretty soon

  9. front brace said its bent in the middle? i wouldn't wanna use that
  10. I have a similar leak, but looks like its dripping off the sump. Im pretty sure its leaking from the top of the engine behind the timing belt cover?
  11. If i was you, i'd turn the boost down below fuel cut, remove the FCD and set fuel pressure to standard, and i bet the car will run better!
  12. i can get two shafts from a gt for £60 so most likely going to do that. My fear is the spline count may be out and i'll be left with no car for another week
  13. Do GT Turbo Shafts fit a glanza? I think im going just swap the driveshaft as both boots were knackered and chance the inner joint may not be healthy
  14. MOT this weekend and don't fancy taking them to a garage on or off the car. rather do it from home
  15. driveshafts needed

  16. took it to a garage and its a knackered cv joint. Both the inner and outer boots have tears. The garage recommend replacing the whole driveshaft is this necessary or will replacing the outer cv joint fix the issue?
