Car statyed again after pulling ht leads out and putting back on again, not sure if that was a coincidence or not

Started on the way home a slight judder/misfire around 2krpm.just went out again and was worse. Revs even dropped to zero then went back up again this time. Happened a few times and conked out once and wouldn't restart for a while.any ideas what this could be???

way i see it is, you have the rest of your life to buy boring,sensible efficient cars when needs be. Enjoy the bone breaking, expensive to run but fun to mod bangers when you're young and free!!

Mines started to do this too around 2krpm, engine management light comes on briefly then off again -

Priming the turbo is easy, take the efi fuse out and try to start the car until oil comes out the return line

I guess the last number is mm, 2mm would make very little difference.

923mm length just by googling non aircon starlet belt

I bought one from IDWorkz,advertised as starlet non-aircon belt. So if you ask for a belt for a non-aircon starlet it should be spot on.

did you smooth the manifold and block first with sand paper or something similar to give the gasket a flat surface, can make a difference? Also look for cracks on the manifold

growing amount of wanted threads outside the dedicated place. Clogs up all the useful information!!

Gave it a well needed wash yesterday with my step-dads 535.....kinda want to keep it now its fixed Also noticed one of the bulbs had blown up into the headlight! Bit strange since it hadn't been driven for a week. Not sure if its the bulb or car at fault. They were brand new osram night breakers too, got some Halfords tat now. -
any further with confirming its a LSD gearbox?

try changing the gearbox oil before changing anything else, made a big difference to mine!

Looks sweet bud..love black vs haha. TBH wouldn't bother with a baileys, speak for a few here i think, they run like shit. They leak ALOT, mine was awful. Sell it on and buy a better one from the for sale section.

After a week of no car due to a blowing manifold which turned out to be a shagged thread on the engine not holding the stud. After today tapping a new thread the car is running spot on. And on the plus side no boost creep as of yet!! Long drive tonight to rekindle some love -

Going to tap up to a m12x1.75 will a 10mm be sufficent for this?

Now its switched round really, white people are now victims. During the time many white farmers were shot for land etc, similar to in Zimbabwe. Its still not a fair country and far from safe. Mandela fought for freedom etc but still made close friends with alot of dictators including gadaffi
