    No worries!
  7. Yeh mate you've got that right! Hopefully things can start moving forward a lot quicker now You don't understand, it's been about 18 months now :/ Yeh sorry buddy I'll drop you a text later! Thanks mate! Yes it is a rubber hose, just a temporary fix so I can get it running, I'll be getting a silicone one soon ... That'll be the last thing I need!
  8. I tackled the never ending job of the power steering pump this weekend... I sure hope it works faultlessly when it's up and running after all the time and effort that's been put into it! Wiring now complete with a heavy duty multi plug installed, just need to get some high pressure hose to run to and from the rack and job done! I managed to get all the small annoying jobs done... Clipping the loom into place around the headlights and wings. Installed the pressure sender and sensor for the oil gauges. Got the oil return sorted for now! Unfortunately things have started to rust due to it being sat outside for so long Heater pipes fitted too Ran the wiring for the boost solenoid which I mounted under the slam panel and ran the vac pipes I got all the vac pipes sorted, Dv, map sensor, gauge etc. Throttle cable bracket on too Intercooler refitted again!! Doesn't look like much has changed but tied up a lot of loose ends Cleared out the interior too not that you can tell 😂 and also got some more sound deadening. Unfortunately I need a couple of small things before I can start it which I forgot about... AN Union for the fuel filter and braided clutch line. I got an inline fuse and power distribution box as the battery's going in the boot. Hopefully there'll be some significant updates in the near future!

    You after a boost gauge?
  10. Sold as one I believe, not broken for parts!
  11. Bad luck with the fire buddy, I'm glad to hear the volvic was to hand! 😂 Have the meisters been changed since I purchased them or are they the same? How are you finding them or do you need them set up properly before you can tell?
  12. Thanks guys Currently trying to figure out who to map the link ecu, it will most likely end up at race-tech to be fitted, run in and mapped hopefully within the next 6 weeks Just waiting on some parts to get the battery wired up in the boot properly. Still need to sort the oil return before I can fire it up though
  13. Okay mate that'll be of no help to you then. But from what your saying you'd be better of with 230/40 as your looking to change the width rather than the profile
  14. Are they standard rims? If so check out the black circle website, they've been right when I've used it before.
  15. I finally got round to mounting the Pas pump this weekend and making the lines from the rack. This gave me a chance to offer up the wings and bumper finally Nothing's bolted up properly hence the gaps and bumper is a little misshaped due to be sat in my bedroom for 2 years and never being fitted! All will be good once bolted on though! Should look spot on once the skirts are fitted and the cars lowered some more! Power fold mirrors fitted too. Also managed to remove the EMB and repair the loom in readiness so I can use the powerfc to start the car and know it's all okay before I change over to the link ECU. Wiring for the Oil pressure & temperature gauge run into the cabin ready to be fitted once the dash is back in. I'm hoping to get the fuses and distribution box sorted in the next couple of weeks so the battery can be mounted in the boot and once the oil return is fitted she should be ready to fire up!! Still lots to be fitted though!
  16. Okay rob let me check tonight as I believe mine is 16mm, so that would be ideal! I'll drop you a pm
  17. I was thinking something along those lines but the diameter is different on the turbo... 16mm & 19mm I believe
  18. What do people do regarding the oil return pipe? Td04 on a 5e... A 90' pipe won't cut it, would I have to get one custom made?
  19. Looking good as usual buddy! Attention to detail with you 😉
  20. Bump. 6mm plus left now no 7mm
  21. I can't comment on the latest one as I'm yet to drive one but compared to a 4.2 14my and earlier ones I've driven I much prefer the f type, awd f types launch extremely well! Obviously rwd not so much 😂 Different ball game comparing new to new though as the r8 is 50k+ over an awd f type
