Personally I think that you change everything else on the car that it won't matter at all unless it's not to the buyers taste. Unless it's a complete OEM build I'd go for it. These aren't Classic ferraris where you have to have matching chassis & engine numbers with original paint!

No real updates atm due to a few other projects but I have managed to source the long lost items! Throttle cable bracket that's goes onto the inlet, wire wheeled and painted Also got a O/S headlight as my last one got burnt in a small garage fire 😢 It's in pretty good condition as it is but I'm just waiting for marco to polish it for me 😂 Here's the remains of the burnt one... I was looking for the other headlight for about 20 minutes while my dad was grinding away in the garage... Then I come back in to find a pretty big fire and the headlight I had found melted into the orange box 😕 And as you can guess I found the other headlight about 10 seconds after we put the fire out😡

If the brackets are the same as my meister ones then it would appear the drivers side is knackered

I went for the welding option but it's quite difficult as the rocker cover is soft ally compared to the stanless baffle. Can still be done though
