Compression test figures. Can these be right?

Bang on mate. Tested Gainzy's today and it confirmed a duff tester. Will get my hands on another tester that hopefully works -
Compression test figures. Can these be right?

This is was what I was thinking as the figures were so low. I'm going to see if I can borrow Gainzy's car and run the tester on his. If it shows similar readings I'll see if I can borrow another from someone else. It's going forged anyway at some point just trying to determine if it's got to be done sooner rather than later. -

Just the usual amount of white smoke from a cold engine that clears up a bit once warmed up. I would have thought it would be throwing out a darker smoke In a higher volume! That was with throttle fully open. Thank for the info guys. Any more suggestion? -

Yeah that was my logic too. That's the thing it idles about 800 once warm and holds it petty well. I personally thought it would idle horribly and throw out quite a lot of smoke too!! -
Yeah looks class from the front view. Better without the stipes though. Looks shite from every other angle

I've been suspecting that the rings may have worn as the car has felt underpowered lately and my catch can is filling pretty quickly, about once a month, (250miles). So I done a compression test across a all 4 cylinders and got these results. Engine details:- Been out for a 20minute drive. 110,000 miles running around 200-210bhp at 1.1bar or 0.7bar. Currently set at 0.7bar. Each plug when removed had some oil on them too. Indicating ring failure across all 4 cylinders. 1. 30psi 60psi with wet test 2. 30psi 60psi 3. 30psi 60psi 4. 30psi 60psi Can they really b

You have a PM mate

As above. Any one got one they aren't using?

You should have posted that car video for "no no no no" "See" meaning look with the eyes "Touch" meaning using your hands to feel Pretty sure I used "see" hahahaha

Until I buy another set. I knew I should have kept them for myself hahaha but engine build comes first. Will call round after work to see what all this fuss is about over this gearknob

I had an auto aero top N/a. I used to drive it daily for about 18months before I sold it to buy a Glanza. The supra is an awesome car to drive in my opinion and I'll get TT supra one day. The cockpit is great how it's all driver focused and the seating position is just like a go-kart. Boot space is pretty shocking though. You'll be looking at about £3000 for a decent manual N/a. Over all their a good solid car and if looked after will go on and on. However when they go wrong they usually cost a fortune to repair. Running an old 3.0l engine isn't cheap either I was seeing about 15mpg on a regul

What size fuse should be in mate? And which one is it lol. The motor is working if you lift the wipers off the screen bit is waking a buzzing noise. If you put the wipers back down they won't move and it buzz's. Guessing the motor is basically dead. Any ideas where to get a new one from? Rang Toyota and their price is £205 all in without fitting.

Mines also called Scarlet. Seems a popular one

Turned the car on this morning to warm her up while I scraped the windows. As soon as I turned the key the wipers tried to move as I'd obviously not turned them off from last time I used them. I jumped out the car and broke the ice so they could move and turned them off. Tried using them later and they moved an inch or 2 from their rest position but then they stop moving and all you can hear is a faint buzzing. Any ideas? Have the motors fried or has something else! Cheers Nick

Yeah you should sell up then I can be unique round our way . On a serious note though it's your car so do what you want with it. Like I've already said to you though you'll sell it then be twisting a month later wishing you didn't sell it. I probably know you better than anyone here, I would be giving you different advice if you were in debt because of it, but that's just my advice.

There is some proper funny comments on the supra forum about her. One guys is wanting her to die while piping her cat off. That was one of the funny ones. Hahaha. Can't really see it being a publicity stunt IMO as it's a step too far. Common sense dictates out of all the people who get offended someone somewhere will seek actual revenge in some way.
