  1. ^ have a go at it yourself, i done a couple and its not too hard, i borrowed a compressor from a mate (you can hire them cheaps) and spent about 60 quid on paint/thinners/lacquer etc, ive used about 2 litres of paint, but still have the bonnet and rear bumper left to do, so 2.5 is enough
  2. Few more pics! Engine + new leads etc TRD mount and painted lower belt cover aswell as a good clean up ! Shifter.. I'm pretty sure it's a C's one..! Damn short aswell! And a note to others doing the convo... This is the prob I had with the fuel hanger plug.. The Glanza loom ain't gonna plug into it.. So rewire your plug off the na loom onto it R.
  3. ^ cheers g yea I'm not exactly doing it quickly but I've basically got all the major things apart from clutch + turbo setup..! If I was going for a standard setup, it would of been done by now.. But it'll be worth the wait!
  4. ^ looking at the last sentence I think it was a joke Geo
  5. Put the standard injectors back in and fpr at stock pressure..Or get a gauge and see what your Adjusting it too You need to rev it to seal the rings properly.. Take it upto about 5k but with no boost I would do an oil change at 50-250-500-750-1000 then go and get it mapped
  6. Cheers phil & Idrees Soz I didn't get the paint from you mate! I would of done but I got a silly deal I couldn't refuse cheers though! @ Gary I think it's pretty rare, but quite a few supes have it..When they get theirs resprayed though, lamborghini avlon grigio is normally the one that's chosen, but in the sample I saw I thought It was a bit dark, but now seeing the Toyota gunmetal I could of got away with it! Few more pics tomoz ! Just really doing wiring and tidying up at the mo !
  7. Cheers.! It's actually Toyota greyish green mica metallic to be precise Basically the gunmetal found on supra's
  8. Clutches are torque rated as that's what breaks/wears them.. Mine was an exedy replacement and was about 80 I think.
  9. Thanks for the kind words guys few more as requested Fitted Glanza stalks.. Had to modify the coloumn due to the mounting points being different, so people doing the conversion make note of that
  10. All the windows apart from the rear are being replaced .. Front screen has a massive crack in Cheers phil it's come out well for a home job.. Just gotta sort the bonnet and rear bumper out, paint them and fit them and it's basically done apart from front lip and skirts, probs won't fit the Glanza ones and just go and get some JAMs
  11. You can use yaris Buckets I believe
  12. Join the two pipes together that go through the firewall/bulkhead.. I pulled mine out not long ago so you could of had that! But i dumped it as I thought no one would need one!
  13. A little taster, ill have to get some more as its all back together now..
  14. Cheers matey I'll eventually get round to do the rear bumper.. Cheers for the tip..! Updates on the car, well there isn't alot in this thread but.. It's been resparayed "properly" this time in a Toyota gunmetal.. All the sound deadening inside is out, and all the glue from it removed that took ages! Got all the wiring looms now (was looking for floor + roof loom for ages!) and that all fits up properly apart from the fuel pump which I've rewired.. ! (that was due to the na fuel pump hanger).. Engine wise it's all together, got some ultra power 7mm leads for it aswell. I was going to drop i
  15. Good price on parts and quick delivery! Excellent communication..even sent me pics of the parcel ready to be shipped! Cheers nath!
  16. It doesn't really matter about the seal as it's got lexan windows going in.. But cheers anyway ! Any idea on a company to use and how much they'll charge? Cheers again
  17. Righto... Cheers mate! Any idea on the rears... I know there bonded in so presume I need someone to cut them out?!
  18. Cheers mate! Can't really put the window down, so if I just undo the others ( I think there's 4?) it'll give me enough movement ?
  19. Has anyone got a guide for doing this?! Cheers
  20. If you've replaced the bearing a few times and it's still doing it.. It's probs the clutch. My bet is the centre section is cracked/one of the springs has snapped etc..
  21. Got the vac and water lines the correct way?
  22. They should fit but after looking at the other thread there doesn't seem to be any point!
  23. 1.4 bar really but you can run upto 1.6 but it's probably out of it's effciency range.. On a mates starlet there was about a couple of bhp difference between the 2 boost levels but about a 20ftlb jump in torque..
  24. If money/supply isn't an option I'd go for the HRF or GReddy one.. If that's not an option I would then say custom, get a core the size you want and then make the piping route you want if you could be bothered.. Then the wepr.. in my opinion the ones I've seen i think the core is too thin, it'll be fine for a ct9 though, and it's also probably why they fit well, have nice end tanks aswell unlike the autobahns.. Then hdi/jpetformance as the core is massive.. Go for the wepr if you want a good off the shelf one
