  1. Mad haha! Lol @ this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKKeu_wcA7E...e=youtube_gdata
  2. Luke wanted/said it would just be alot easier to drop a Glanza shell over an st185.. You'd have to be mental to pay 30k lol. I was quoted 2k to build a space framed front to fit any engine.. And that was a CAD designed etc. Fitted/coated.. Then obviously engine/box/shafts/wiring.. 4k may be a little tight, but you could defo get all the major stuff done..
  3. luke isn't a member on here... I'm not doubting your here to help, it's just another option/person he can call if he still has problems.
  4. ^ unfortunately mate it probs say your gonna have the problems Idrees had.. They're actually wank, I've seen loads of em do it now!
  5. bought 100 quid for a full set of standard bearings...but if youve been driving it knocking, 9/10 times youll need a crank grind, and undersize bearings which are quite i bit more expensive from memory
  6. 1. My glanza loom has all the abs plugs on it, dont use it, strip the loom down and remove all the abs stuff. 2. I think it depends on what year your ep is, mine was a 98, and i used 96 glanza looms, and i needed the floor loom (pump rear lights etc).. youll need to do a bit of wiring on the fuel pump aswell, as the connection on the hanger is completly different. 3. You dont really need a turbo rear axle, it looks better, but you wont really notice the difference if you adjust the drums, 80% of the braking is done by the front...may be worth putting GT/Glanza callipers/disks on the front th
  7. it wont cost as much as some people say it does... I think you could do it for about 4K, and that included a quote i got for a space framed front end
  8. Lag doesnt matter on a drag car, your always going to be at the top of the rev range where all the power is... Hence why all drag supra/skylines run silly large singles like T88's/GT42's etc, as response isnt important.
  9. PM JulesB on here (not sure how often he's online now though) or go on pacific works, and phone luke (jules bro)... They know their way around a 3S very well.
  10. Following on about your noisey release bearing and blown up box... Sure it ain't the clutch.. It happened to Si and we thought it's what you described..but turned out the clutch was fooked.. Quite a few exedys have done it now Have you had the box off to have a look ?
  11. Don't use smr there poop... Buy a running one off a member, or do a rebuilt on your fooked one.. Have a look into it.. It's not as hard as you think
  12. I'll have a crack when I get home !
  13. if you dont know what anything does on it dont even attempt to set it up yourself lol.. probs wasnt a great idea fitting it anyway as if its second hand, itll have a previous map on it for a totally different car/spec.
  14. I thought harry was an employee? Very sad news though ;)
  15. Front hangers are different on the na. There on the gearbox mount and the turbos are further back on the chassis..
  16. yup same ! I on really go on the forum on my phone..
  17. A couple of people have used/use garrett tubs on ep's.. Reason why everyone uses td04s etc is because there silly cheap unlike garretts..
  18. yup as Geo said that ain't right.. Yours is crossing at 5750 and it should be 5250 so you know it's not right
  19. TRD rear gearbox mount only fits non lsd boxs, trd dont make one that fits the optional lsd box. you can use the other two from the set though. as they fit whether you have an optional lsd box or not.
  20. your confusing me now lol If you drivers side shaft was too short to fit your box at the min, that would mean you have LSD shafts and a NON LSD box :S
  21. You don't need to cut the carpet.. And they don't normally go to the rear struts.. The roll cage legs sit on the chassis just in front of it..
  22. Na starlets Aswell? Ah you've just edited.. Yea I was just talking about ep's.. I had no idea whether cynos' came with them or not..
  23. You may aswell fit the side ones.. And then get a custom polybush for the rear one.. You won't have a non turbo gearbox as you have an LSD one, which is an option for the turbo models.. In what way didn't the shafts fit ? To long/short ? Wouldn't fit in the hub etc..?!?
