@ liam, we would get all the bodywork spraying/decals done professionally, we know of someone who has done it on about 8 celica's so he's got the nick at it Rob

Bit of a change of plan.... what im going to try and do now is, get a front bumper off a remix, and turn it into a rally spec. ep a little like prangers old car, but im thinking white with possibly castrol graphics if it will look any good? Im not normally a fan of decals, but i think this may look okay.. What do you think?

sorry mate..have to agree with all the others on the FMIC thing....basically, i would feel a right tit if someone came up to me and said "Is your's a turbo then?" you obvioulsy say"No" "why do you have a FMIC then?" The you have to go on and explain that its an n/a and you are going to use it as an induction kit etc. indeed it does look good, but its pretty pointless....i cant also see how you are going to be able to turn this into an induction kit?! they were a few things you could do....but it may of been if it was with a radar gun not a laser one supposedly if its a radar one, and the operator of it had their moblie phone on, you could get away with it as the radiowaves from the phone get 'screw' the reading up..... Theres a massive book you can buy on avoiding stuff like this aswell by the way ;) Another bit of advice, buy a laser/radar detector...

well obviously first sort out all the bodywork.... and then im going to sort out the handling/chassis side of things....hopefully get some tein s-tech springs, few anti-roll bars, rear strut, room bar, fender bar etc... Not much else needs to be done, as the engine has already got the manifold, hybrid panel filter....etc, put im tempted to get some iridium plugs and some new leads Rob

Hi guys/gals.. Heres my build up/repair thread of restoring the SR to its former glory! ;) You would of seen the car before, (fishy89's) but i will be getting hold of it in the next month or so....i am starting to collect parts so it will all be mended in time for when i learn to drive.... All ready have a few parts in the pipeline, which are some HID's courtesy of Scutch0, and some clear indicators from idress which i should be getting in the next couple of days... Next on the list, is a new front and of course a new bonnet! Once all the bodywork is complete, it will be treated to some new suspension, which will either be some Tein S-Tech Springs, or some RS*R springs, and some new uprated dampers..... The car in it's current state, a bit of work to be done here! :P Cheers Rob

im sorry to be rude, but i think its a bit wrong coming on here and setting up a facebook page asking for donations to sort out your car.....there are a number of people on here whose car's are not in mint condition, and may not be able afford to get it sorted re-painted etc - they just make do.. not ask for handouts ;) Well thats my opinion anyway Rob
