  11. Yup G is right, there is two japshows one in June, and the Finale in October....They are 2 of the events in the HKS drag series, and the other two are in may and august i believe....I go to the japshows every year and they are pretty good. Track action, drifting and they even had a little handling track shootout thing in october....Its a little like JAE, but like said, with track action, along with loads of traders, and car club stands, which are on concrete not spread out on what basically was a large field at the showground... You can camp there, but its not like JAE where you pitch up your
  12. yup, not good ....also the date they had in mind may also clash with TOTB.. Rob
  13. a 30 second shutter speed is quite long, but it all depends on the apature aswell You can have a long shutter speed, and a high apature like f22. which will not let us much light in as a 30 second shutter speed and f8.0 apature. Obviously the shot taken at f22. will be alot darker...(if you understand). Rob
  14. @JAG - i did one at 70, its okay if the tripod and camera is secure tho all that needs to be done is to 'tone' down the exposure on the cars IMO Rob
  15. firstly, you dont have to be going fast at all, 5mph-10mph is enough....what i do is sit in the passenger seat, wedge 2 legs of the tripod in the footwell, and one between my legs. You then have a solid base... Rob
  16. indeed it was lmao at oli's comment! Rob

    puzzled?

what i was going to say ;) normally called a restrictor ring, you can buy them for other cars, but know one seems to make on for a starlet... what i would personally do is get a restrictor ring, and make it so it limits the boost to 0.8 bar for example, and then use a boost controller to raise the boost up to 0.9 bar, or 1.0 bar for example (depending on fueling, and current mods!)
  18. if its the one in the link you quoted, we've already said stay away!!
  19. nice pic's mate, shame some of them were blurred to much..... i did some like that a while ago....... http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6544 , the explanation near the bottom may help you improve yours more!! Hope it helps! Rob

    puzzled?

you will be hitting fuel cut, due to boost creep i would think.....either tape up your airfilter, or go back to the standard airbox, or you could get the wastegate ported... In other words, the airfilter is letting in so much air, it cant come out the other side of the system (wastegate) Rob
