take off the dash facia which is around the original headunit. There are two screws on the beam below the heater controls. Once you have done that gently prise the bottom of the facia away from the dash (it is clipped on), once you have done this you will have a clear view of the headunit and the surrounding area. The is another 4 screws that you will then need to remove. The hold the metal bracket onto the dash, which also holds the headunit in place.
