Cruise still deals I think, and the 18G kit I sold was from a Starlet specialist, but he's not a fully fledged tuner Other than that, I think its a bit bleak there - if you combine the fact that when they have the cars had to have their "Shaken" test (equivalent of an MOT) at 3 years from new, and the extortionate cost of doing such, even the newest Starlet was at risk of not being renewed in 2002; so a lot came over here as imports from then, and I don't think a lot of people were going to spend too much on a relatively low volume niche hatchback. I think most of the specialised tuners would

Correct; its on their website I think - I think it flipped as well as the roof was caved in from what I remember

HRF is LOOOOONG gone, like, since 2004! I think they crashed their Golden car in 2003 too

Beyond being a slag, I live for the track Nothing new yet, still a heap, got updates on the Blog of the 4E I've overhauled but otherwise that's it, with the 5E being a slightly more longterm project (though I should be receiving the 18G shortly) - once I get that 4E in, get some money in, then it's hopefully a long awaited return to the track...its been nearly 4 YEARS!

Whilst the Paseo was never billed as an especially sporting or capable vehicle, it is my firm belief that in order to really understand your vehicle, and thus make well judged modications (albeit, if that is the direction you wish to follow), that you should have your vehicle on track at one point or another. That, and trackdays are huge fun as well. So, I'll start with pictures of mine: - Curborough; November 2005 - Paseo Si [stock] - - Heythrop Park Autotest; December 2005 (Just before selling car) - Paseo Si [stock] - - Goodwood; January 26th 2006 - Cynos Beta [stock] - - Silver

I will later elaborate this post, but just a rudimentary introduction - whilst Toyota, at the time of release of the Paseo had more prominent and popular cars with which to enter into a multitude of Motorsport fields (Celica, Supra etc), the Paseo, whilst usually entertained at Grassroots level motorsports, actually enjoyed even some big successes in major events. Primarily as can be seen below, the EL44 Paseos picked up numerous victories in the GT3 & GT4 classes in the SCCA championship in America - now, the car are far from stock, some being based on a tubular spaceframe chassis, and

There's only so much you can do when you're a one or two man operation to keep your company going in a market as volatile as the vehicle aftermarket preparation field, catering for a car that stopped being sold 10 years prior and which wasn't hugely popular...

Also nice to have it fresh Also hunt lobster, but leave that to the father as they're too spikey and hurt my delicate hands - my dad was quite an avid hunter too in the past, had some Diana 50 rifle, and a shotgun of some sort, that's kind of died down - though he still occasionally hunts with one of his friends in Kenya. He's been hunting fish for 40+ years though, still at it

I speargun fish a lot if that counts - and its not for game, its for eating I miss them most the time, but, yeah, I "hunt"

A lot to be said for detailing your query in a post

Ummm, you only take off the 3 or 4 nuts on the strut top threads through the arch on each side to get a strut brace on

Look for a powdercoating company near you, they'll be able to do it - Idrees used to paint the covers here, but so could you if you're not lazy

I don't see the sense in going to a far and away place like Egypt, just to go lay around on a commercialised beach region like Sharm El Sheikh that trades any semblance of traditional values, for the sake of bland corporate beach resorts - as much as I hate sight-seeing and touristy rubbish, I'd recommend you go to places like Luxor, Cairo and such; Cairo has a bustling night-life as well.

I've never been to Egypt (nor do I wish to), but living in Saudi Arabia all my life, its more of the same really to some extent - also, if you dive, dive; short of the Great Barrier Re

Should we tell his wife and kid that the man of their life, is now of the gay?

They are indeed standard fitment - compare to the angle of the stock Catalytic convertor for example

So, a Tesco's plastic bag?

never heard of it personally, and the Speedvision springs are meant to be almost too stiff...
-
heads coming off due to the springs?? I've heard of them lifting under too much boost on stock headbolts, not due to the valve springs..

I don't think Sam does upgraded valves? What I do recommend though is getting the valves cryo-treated if you're worried about strength - greatly increases wear strength
