Unlucky mate could have been worse could have been on the way to japfest with no way of getting it home and done more damage! Least you have an excuse now to use arp studs and go for more power with a bigger turbo:p
People might moan that it's a honda engine going in but the amount of work needed to do it I take my hat off to you, best to lead the sheep than follow them!
It has to be a boosted k20!!! Stupid amount of power can be thrown at them on stock internals and more than possible to get 600-700 out of a well tuned one Hurry and tell us!!! Haha
It's mainly road use it'll be for as it's my daily at the moment so not wanting anything that breaks your spine every time you hit the smallest of bumps
Looking to buy a set of coilovers for my Glanza v soon but I'm unsure of what to go for, BC, Meister, DC etc any info or personal experience would be appreciated thanks
Just read this full build thread just one word "WOW"!!! Your attention to detail is increadible!! Not just the best starlet I've seen but one of the best builds of any car!!! Keep up the good work can't wait too see what the future holds for this;)
Yeah was thinking that it might have been that or the alternator on the way out was just the cat light that threw me off making me think that it was something more serious lol cheers bud;)
Started the car drove about 50 metres and noticed that the battery and cat light (box shape with three wavey lines above it) where on. I turned off the car and went to start it back up but wouldn't start as if it had a flat battery! I bump started it and all the warning lights where off whilst driving the way it should be and the car ran fine all the way home, turned it off left it an hour and started the car again and it seems fine what could it have been? Alternator? Also the belts have been sqeeling lately
