no, it wont idle higher if you block the VAC pipe off bud just use a bolt and block it bud.. if you leave it open then yeah it will idle higher because your have VAC air leak! as for the CT9.. it doesnt help just having chatter no.. but aint gunna make huge life difference to the turbo, its not even 100% good having a BOV/dump valve on a car.. Chatter for the win ;)

Not sure if your using the standard EFI pipe & standard pipe off the turbo.. but may help bud!

Ok so my car started to misfire,judder,miss quite a lot.. so i did the following things.. - replaced all ignition ( plugs,leads,distributor,coilpack ECT ECT! Then my headgasket went so i have just got the car back.. and its had head skimmed, pressure tested all new gaskets ect! The car now is not getting hot/loosing coolant and not misfiring now so that a BONUS! PROBLEM CURRENTLY - Car is very boggy, as you take off a junction for example in 1st.. the car doesnt want to accelrate so there is a big 2-3seconds delay before the car starts to go.. but then the car will not pull hard and is only just driveable.. ( it does this in all gears & is very boggy ) and there is NOT any throttle response what so ever until atleast 2 seconds.. it never did this before only happended since cars been apart so i check all the VAC pipes and they seem fine.. Ordered a Temp Sensor as it runs a tad better but nothing major when its unplugged.. I have noticed the Walbro Fuel Pump has gone very quiet to how it used to WINE very loud. Can anyone help.. if so im litrally willing to send you some £! Thank's alot ! DRiiFTiE!

What do you recommend bud? i have a White V extremely clean anyway but wont hurt looking after her even more ?

Is the head tightening tourques/procedure the same as a normal 1.3 N/A? Just need to be sure when setting it all up again! Cheers!

So i have 16 inch Rota Slipstreams currently on D2 Coilovers.. The one is started to leak so im just order some shocks&springs.. As not keen on coils anyway. Anyone tell me if 30MM will be fine or 40MM be too low and catch tyre? CHEERS!!

Having same problem, yesterday i replaced all the Ignition, Spark Plugs, HT Leads, Coilpack, Distubutor cap & RotorArm Cap, YET im still having problems! Im going to try Fuel Pump & look for any loose wires next! let me know how you get on!

Had this problem for few days, sorted it yesterday by changing plugs,leads,coilpack, distubutor rotoararm cap mate , runs sweet now!
