Well ive always used Auto Glym but yeah the finish doesnt last as long as i would like.
but with that in mind autoglym have recently released a new product called Aqua Wax, basically u wash the car and if there's already a decent shine on the car then u apply this stuff to the paintwork while the paintwork is still wet from washing and rinsing, its gud for paint, glass, and plastic and does a fantastic job on my rims.
Also autoglym have this new wax available called High Definition Wax its not for general sale yet and iI only managed to get sum because i was at a car show and got talking to one of their reps. it may cost a bomb BUT its the best yet from them.

-

i love the dash in that. its a nice change to the starlet
Also are those speaker pods on the doors??? are those standard on a cynos?????
-
i think its an auto box, could be wrong...
but also some Cynos' were 1.3s ;)
really I never know that.

Hey all newbie here!
Curently diving a Toyota Cynos (jdM YO) powered by a 4efe, so thought this would
be a good site to get more info on modding the engine.
Will get some pics of the car up soon
Hey mate welcome to the site. Where abouts are u in Ireland?
Nice cynos u got there, but how come its got a 4e engine? I thought all those cynos' had 5efe engines at the least.
Either way welcome and best of luck with the car.
-
nope, i did not spend the last 2 years building it to take it all apart again.
shes going as a whole.
oh thats fair enough mate.
Best of luck with the sale,
someone's going to end up with a very special V after this.
-

The other day I seen an application in the local news paper for modified cars to appear in a movie being filmed locally.
I sent a pic of mine and my mates cars and we have been selected to feature in the film
The scene we are in is actually our local hang out place so we would be stupid not to enter into it!! It envolves being parked in the car park and then quickly scattering when police choppers arrive, sounds like fun
Anyway just thought I would shaer that
Ah nice one mate,
Maybe get a "tasteful" UKSC.com logo made up for the top of the windscreen, it may give the site sum exposure if they film close up to the car.
-
it wont fit. ive tried one ^^
the TPS mounts up the same though.
ah thats a shame,
thanx anyway Rick, i was hoping to be able to fit it, but oh well.....keeping a lookout for a 7afe tb...they fit apparently.

I just wanted to know whats considered the weight for a 15 x 6.5 size "lightweight" rim
im curious to kno at what weight in general does a rim become considered as lightweight,
I found this website which has a database of wheel weights
-
alrite guys Ive fitted my custom shaved and painted rocker cover
what do ye think???
-
i know there has been some discussion about upgrading the throttle body on the n/a on here,
i wanted to know if the 4age throttle body will fit with out any modifications and also what is the story bout the TPS sensor on it?
Will be able to retain my standard TPS sensor
Im asking this because i have been offered a 4age throttle bodyfor free from a corolla GTI that has been written off (it hit a bus)
any help is welcome
-
hey man can u not swap over the tps sensor from your throttle body???
-
Very nice motor mate like the seats are they in yet? ;)
thanx man.
they are a sweet shade of grey in person
no the seats arent in yet, ive owned them for a year almost now and they've been in and out, im having to do custom brackets for them as im not quiet happy with the height of them when theyre in( theyre a little too high),
also my girlfriend has problems fitting into them and im sick of her going on bout em so im not the fastest bout refiting them,
i kno thats a weak excuse but they'll be in the car eventually......
-
hey mate i had a similar vibrating when letting off the throttle.
it turned out my rear lower mount was alnost gone and the other two mounts where wearing out as well.
id say that it could be engine mounts
-
Looking good mate,
Have you noticed much different from the uprated Pulleys??
thanx lad
yeah the lightweight pulleys do make a difference it really does rev alot more freely with them and she pulls a tiny bit harder aswell id say,
also when cruising my mpg is fairly good i can get up to 40-42 mpg, so i recon that they help that sum bit also
-
alrite guys
I fitted the TRD engine mounts yesterday..what a difference they've made.
there was some modifying needed to be done to make the rear lower mount work (exhaust mounting brackets)
but i will let the photos do the talking, so here there are.
all the mounts
Part no. for the lower rear mount
Picture guide to modifications done to rear mount

hey rich just wondering if u change over to these injectors,
What kinda increase in performance can be typically expected?
Are these injectors only useful if u have a lot of mods (and i mean alot of work and mods) installed that will alter your AF ratio
are these injctors only useful topeople with seriously modded enfines?
-
woo thats am different to say the least.....
-
sweet piece of work there man, as said maybe loose the outline border, otherwise real cool.
