Nothing wrong with keeping it clean! I'd clean mine every other day of I had the chance to
Are they 195/45 tyres on the speedies?
-
This is going to be so epic!
-
Pm me dude
Thanks dude but I'll be getting them from drongo since he's a bit closer
-
I had mine done at cobra sports in Sheffield (may be a bit too far) but they do some great work too and it cost me £220 to have a custom catback made to fit a Backbox I supplied.
But I've also heard and seen great things about RW too

Hey all,
Does anyone have a spare set of sunvisors?
Doesn't matter about the condition as its for a little project so in reality I only need the fittings but a whole set would be grand so I can see exactly how they're put together etc.
If your close enough to Rotherham/Sheffield I'd happily collect
TIA

Oh brilliant! I'll have a gander then
-
Will this be attending any shows this year? I want to see that bay in person!
-
I'd say go to 45's I was torn between 50 and 45's but went for 195/50 and I agree they look chunky still so ill be going 45's next time round I think

Man that front end! This is a car to be proud of bud!

Crucial update! Car was left with cobra 9am today for the custom made catback exhaust to be made up! They had the car done for 11am and as mine was the only car being worked on when I heard a car start up my eyes lit up!
It sounds amazing! The best part is I can actually manage to drive it quietly but as soon as I put the foot down it comes to life! From what I can see the work is spot on!
Only thing they couldn't do was sort out the dint in the tip but I'm not fussed now it's on! They even fitted it to sit at a slight angle too which is brilliant!
I must say though when it comes to motorway driving and needing to get up hills at 70 it is rather loud xD
And a quick picture as I left it while I spend the night in Leeds!
Also I upgraded the washer jets, I have wanted some that spray as more of a list to cover the windscreen more so after some trial and error I managed to find some on eBay I believe for a Citroen xsara, they aren't perfect fit but they are jammed in and cover the holes fully, I just need to adjust them to spray a little higher and should all be good

Bet this colour would look good after a polish and wax
Blurple is honestly beyond beauty when it is cleaned up and has a good coat of wax on it
-
Hey man! Haha yeah I started out with a B as my first car too! But mine was handed to me from family and it was stolen within about 3 months xD
I'd have had a starlet as my first car if I didn't have a car passed to me for free!

So much win! I have to say this looks pretty much perfect!

Pictureless update!
After a quick trade with Walker, I have made him various custom designed stickers, which I have personally printed, kiss cut and applied onto his car!
And for that he very kindly and generously gave me a wheel stud, his old rocker cover and some CD clocks.
I got around to fitting the clocks today, I was expecting the worse but thought I'd test them out before swapping any wires and amazingly they all worked perfectly! So swapped the odometers over and got everything out back together and after about an hour and a half I had working CD clocks with a Rev gauge finally!
Car goes to cobra next Friday to have a custom made catback made up to the Backbox I purchased months ago... I am excited!
-
Oh my god that colour is so awesome! I want
-
Oh god this is amazing! I really cannot wait to see how the starlet will come out now!
I'm going to Cobra to have a custom catback made up at the end of this month
-
And I'm about 15 mins away from Meadowhall haven't seen another starlet to park next to whenever I go though
-
This is going to be a mental little starlet!
-
I have a HKB sports boss which I bought from RHD Japan, that fits perfectly fine with my Kode deep dish. Well I haven't setup the born yet but yeah everything else fits and works
-
I have to agree with Walker, that 86 is a work of art!
Going for handling with the NA is literally the best way to go in all honesty as that's there strongest point
-
That's the one I got, the airbag light pops up as usual and then goes off again just as it would with the airbag still in! And I've just got it tucked away in the cowl under the boss so you can't see it
-
Demon tweaks do a resistor that costs about £4.50 simply plug the two prongs into the existing plug and it'll work exactly the same as when you had an airbag in
-
Cheers but think ill be getting internal drive ones, or maybe invest in a nylon coated socket.
Will let you know if i change my mind
No worries! Better to offer than to not say anything
And don't worry Pikey you have first dibs when it comes to replacing the speedline xD
