Hi guys and girls, Not sure if this is meant to be posted in this section.... I've got a little problem with the boosting on the glanza, when i put my foot down the car would make an up and down kinda noise like it's struggling to boost. Can't really explain it so I've uploaded short clips of the car, mainly in 3rd gear it goes like this.. what is the problem and what is causing it?? It only started doing this after I've had my thermometer changed several weeks back, but then it went away for a bit, now it's back... sigh Clip one Clip 2

any difference in grooved, dimpled or plain disc's?

Thanks guys for that, someone told me that only the rear brakes are ABS so the fronts are fine, that true yeah?

Hey guys. I am in need of some new front brake disc, can anyone tell me whether it's essential to have ABS versions for my glanza 1996? As some brake disc's i've seen are listed for ABS and Non ABS.... is that important?? I've found these which were really cheap, anyone think it will be any good? http://www.crnperfor...discs-pair.html And can anyone tell me whether grooved, dimpled, plain is best?????? where else sells good brake disc for starbos, i've seen ebc ones from monstermotors i think. Thanks to Liam for my stand pass :-) didn't know anyone at the stand at all, and must say well done to the people who made it that day as the stand was quite bare, infact the shows arent as busy as they used to be, but still had a good day out. Lol @ phils comment^^ the little green na did well on the strip, also the other starlets that went on :-)

Yes 4EFTE is the turbo version, but maybe the previous owner has converted a non turbo to turbo. It's unclear though

hmmm... maybe you should try get in contact with the son and see if he can tell you of what the modifications he had done on the car would help you to know a bit more about your car

I just took a better look at his engine bay, yes indeed it does say 4efe which is puzzling, you could be right that it was a glanza S before....... hmmmm
