Hey everyone
Well everyone knows I am new to these cars and my mind thinks crazy things all day long.
I know the standard ct9 comes with a duel port actuator I not sure how it works and that tbh.
But I know there are duel port actuators out there could one be modified to fit so I can keep the higher boost but also keep the function of the high/low button.
Atm my car has a hks set at 0.9 bar
Has anyone done this and made it work?
Reason I ask is becsuse I wish to get a plug and play ecu but run the bigger boost to achive the best power for my standard block.
Thanks in advance
Alec
Oh you little show off Love it thank you very much! I am going to try a led and smd version and if there rubbish then one of them standard ones I cant thank you enough
Really easy mate
I have done led conversion on these bits so far
Number plate
Roof light
Front side lights
Reverse lights
Next jobs are boot light and footwell lights
Also gonna solder in a new led for my ignition light up ring.
I am ocd like that haha I been fitting leds where I can and replacing whats old with new.
Go the scrappy and get the holders mate I would well take a oem green led version off you
Thats a nice guesture but ideally want a new bulb because all the old tired bulbs are getting replaced
Would be ideal if you got loads of them and see if anyone good with electronics can make a led version
I might leave it for a little since they did supply me all the leds for the astra, ceed and now have conlmpleated the starlet thanks to there services.
Think I should of put it under the rear lights like the ukso sticker
Argh!! What even is this bulb!! Where can I collect or order a new heater contol bulb? or what you guys done? Any suggestions? My unit is a climate control unit by the way!
Well today was messing around and remembered I had some led bulbs left over from the astra So I decided to see what bulbs I had in the rear clusters To my disappointment I found the big reverse bulbs didnt fit but to my suprise the reverse bulbs were 501 sidelights!! I got loads of these around the house so here we have the before and after!! If your looking this job was simple A 10 mm socket and remove the two nuts and pop out the bulb Make sure you test you got the bulb the right way round.
Well I took apart the thing and found its a regular LED type bulb your likly to use for home electronic devices ect the type you solder on Here we are Just need to find a replacement and solder it on Cheers guys
Hey everyone
Since I not had car long I still learning loads
Jumped in tonight to see I have the light up ignition barrel
But its really faded and not even my camara will pick it up.
So what bulb does it take?
also could I hook up footwell lights to the ring to make it light the factory footwells?
Cheers
