Hey guys As a few know I have a broken GT I have bought a low millage non modded bottom end and plan to use my head. Now I think I know my full list but please let me know if I am missing anything Head gasket Head bolts Cambelt Water pump Oil pump Headgasket Stem seals Crank shaft seal (I think) Inlet gaskets Manifold/turbo gaskets Anything else I will need? Might want a reduced torque and more bhp map big torque will kill the rods. There are people that will able to push the car more for you on std rods and pistons.

Daniel is right its all the map To much torque can push std right to the limits there are ways to push standard blocks without risking destroying it

Get a good aft gauge and then ask your mapper to turn it up a little bit at a time I would suggest a good oil and more services if your going to push the block more

At least get some gauges to monitor how much your pushing your engine Afr and oil pressure will allow you to see how much stress your putting on standard stuff. The right management is always a good idea you prob could push a little more boost with the ARP head bolts and gaskets but don't go silly.

If you don't like noisy pumps then you should check out HRC's pumps! Longer warrenty and much quiter. The whine in question does sound like fuel pump best have a look. If not maybe a worn pulley in engine bay?

You got a boost gauge? The needle should drop down once warmed up if it sits around the same once warm you defo got a vac leak causing it to run rough

Well I will try sort it might need to trim down the bit that sits in the boss its quite a big bit thats stopping horn sittting in right you can see it slightly in the pic

There's a earth piece for inside the boss but won't let me fit the horn with this in place Will play around once the battery charged

Remove bov and blank and see how it runs then. Would check for VAC leaks also could be a split that opens once car warmed up. Could be the leaky bov or VAC leak making the car miss fire

You should knock some more up you could make a little money from these brackets People are always on the hunt for budget 4 pots

Thanks Luke it far from mint Needs new bonnet due to areo catch's are not the best of fits plus loads of stone chips Needs rear break lines Hand brake cable Rear calipers refurbed Pads all round Engine rebuild Boot carpet sorting Got lots of plans for it Firstly will rebuild the engine with all new gaskets and seals won't be going forged because money doesn't allow But I will replace 90% stuff with new stuff Engine bay shot! Very untidy! One of the main things I will do is remove things I simply do not need such as the rest of the air con ect
