Crazy how time flies like that though.

Hello and welcome!
Awesome to see it still on the road haha! -
Good to see you are still knocking about Colin. Haven't heard from you in a long time!
-
Looking mega bud.
Lovely wheels and two tone looks fab!
-
More pics pleased.
Volvo have just been a company that always stands out to me. As well as Saab. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't Volvos super reliable?
-
Haha!
Fair play mate. You are doing a superb job on this car.
Hats off to you.

We got an estimated price

Oh wow! How much do these bumpers weigh? I mean, even the plastic ones aren't that heavy.

I am looking to offer this design for the GT in due course!
Any chance of an OEM design?
-
Oh yes very nice!
Lovely job on that

Looking fabulous!
We definitely need to see some sort of carbon bonnet for the GT.
No one seems to make them anymore which is a shame.
-
Oh wow. How fantastic.
What is Dry Carbon? -
Literally name your car with Toyota Window Motors. Definitely worth keeping spares. Mine shat itself last year, and within the hour I rebuilt it out of spares. Good as new.

Loads of plans, I think getting some bucket seats (sit so high in the standard ones) and suspension will be the goals by christmas! For now I want to just drive it and enjoy it and work out any of the weak points. Brakes need to be bled for sure and then I want to do leads and spark plugs just for the sake of doing them and peace of mind.
Also no, I can't hear the motors going trying to unfold them, just retracting them. It did it once earlier in the day but nothing since so I'm unsure what's going on.
For a quick win, the EP82 GT Seats fit straight in.

That looks superb! Fair play.

Wow that's amazing.

Did you by any chance have your cam cover powder coated ?
Why would that be a problem? You think it was shot blasted and sand was still left in there?

Ye I posted on tgtt aswell, however I just ended up buying a brand new one from Toyota.
Thanks for your help much appreciated.
Wow really? How much did that cost? Do you mind me asking?

You will want a sniff test.
When I couldn't get the thermostat to seal it turned out to be the head gasket. Doesn't necessarily have to have mayo or water in the. Could just be blowing ever so slightly.
Otherwise cracked thermostat housing. Are the 4EFE housings not the same.

Im sure the newer heads have an extra waterway on the intake side.
Yes, this was discussed on TGTT a few days ago. I don't know if it's the same poster or not...

Wow @MARC MOSS when did you get an R32. That's the dream right there. Love those cars man.

I did see that, I personally am not too keen on the modified look. I think the GT looked awesome in factory form.
Different with the Mitsubushi Evolution. My friend had a bonnet like that on his Evo and I thought it looked quite good.
In fact, I'd almost go to say I'd want a GL bonnet in carbon. But want doesn't get

Anything for the GT @RobSR. Seems like everyone has stopped carbon bonnets for those.

Lovely looking GT 😃
