Because i bet its not recomended to repair these tyre mate, like all the Run-Flat tyres they arent advised to be repaired. And obviously if you have a new tyre the one on the other side wont be as good tread.

Yeah i see that mate, Cars like this would run better with 4 new tyres but the difference wouldnt be all that noticeable. And that would be a waste in 3 good tyres aswell lol.

Gutted for you, i felt the same the other week when my Piston Rings went ;) Its a proper bad feeling but its a Starlet so it'll be fine, they just need some TLC from time to time. Im sure Dave will sort it out in no time, and she'll be back fresher than ever.

Tyre thing sounds like Nissan trying to rip people off to be honest, Replace the two on the same axle but not all four. Looks awesome mate, you've done a great job of that. Is it something you do professionaly or just for fun?

Yeah, shes running pretty sweet to be honest. Slight Misfire but that should be sorted on Tuesday with a set of new Iridiums. Nearly done 50Miles now and there hasnt been any smoke or weird noises so hopefully shes fixed ;)

Went to fetch it this morning and its running really really well. Got a tiny issue with the oil im using for running it in being too thin, and slighty seeping out of the rocker cover gasket. Its not leaking upto yet but i think its only a matter of time before it does again. So thats gonna be relooked at on Tuesday. Probably going to end up doing another oil and filter and use some thicker oil and also replace the gasket again and put my new rocker cover on incase the old one is warped. Timing has been turned all the way down aswell so that it cant rev very high and cause any damage, feels really sluggish like this but its the best way of making sure im not putting to much load on the new bits. Anyway ive only done 11 miles since the rebuild so im going out for a drive to run it in a bit more

I get this feeling all the time mate, but theres always stuff to buy and things to do to the Starlet to keep the faith going!! Go give it a nice big polish mate and buy a few new parts and you'll love it again. Mine has been away all week getting its rebuild done and today is the first time ive drove it in a week, and its made me see how much i missed driving it.

How fast you needing payments dude??

It took longer than expected aswell mate was suppose to have had it done by thursday.
