Totally agree mate!! Cheers mate, i love this car but its being a right bitch at the minute. If i moved on i reckon ill move away from Starlets if im being honest. Would love a GT but insurance isnt gonna happen for a good few years yet. Would probably end up getting a EG Civic or something. Ive tried loads of times to get quotes mate,and they've all come back as 'unable to insure due to high performance' so dont think a conversion is going to work either. Tell me about it mate, weird aint the word lol i know its gonna be something simple after all this money ive spent on it. Wednesday is the deciding day mate. Wheather she stays or goes is all down to Wednesday. SERIOUSLY!! Considering a 5E conversion now, just trying to find a mint engine for a reasonable price.

Been to get this priced up today, im going to be looking at £400 for a full custom Manifold and a decat pipe, which i dont think is too bad considering that this guys work is top quality. Think ill be booking that in next month

Right well had the new idle control valve on for a few weeks now and it hasnt sorted it in any way. Car now keeps cutting out under hard braking, and sometimes on idle. Going to a diagnostics centre tomorrow to get checked for the final time, if theres no problems that arise this will be the end of the project im afraid to say.
