A friend of mine bought an LSD box quite a while ago and with regards to all clutch type LSD" the plates have worn down quite significantly resulting in quite frankly a slightly/non-working LSD. We both have spent hours trying to find out what LSD it is but have come to no avail. pics* I The main housing has only 3 holes and it is only a 1 way diff with no adjustability otherwise. I can get a lot more pictures, but these where just a quick snap just after stripping the diff. Any help would be very much appreciated! regards Mike

Yea the abs removal kit will work fine. Not sure how it works with removing the light from the dash tho. Possibly somebody could elaborate on this.

No, don't do that. The same thing happened to my glanza a few years back, i took the engine out, rebuilt it, and put it back in and i couldn't get the light out. I tired to clear the code with bridging two connections on the diagnostics plug, ( i can't remember what the connections where, it could be the standard TC1+ E1 connection but its been a few years since.) turning the ignition on and pumping the brake peddle alot within 5 seconds. If this doesn't work and you cannot get rid, don't take the bulb out, as an mot test requires the light to come on and then go out. I did get round this but i don't want to put the fourm in disrepute. its up to you if you want to contact me on how i did this.

I have a drivers side solid line that runs after the flex line, they are all one piece if I'm not mistaken. which side has snapped?

As above, the gearbox i have at the moment is very noisy and crunches in 2nd when cold. I'm after a box that is ok, doesn't have to be perfect but something that can be worked on, either way it will be stripped and overhauled, but i don't what anything trashed. Non factory LSD gearbox considered as well, Whats everybody got? any pm would be great!
