I've been using V-power every time i fill up, not really been watching the MPG but since i fitted my TD04 kit I've been getting stupid MPG! cost me 20 quid to get from preston to the trafford center and back with me and another person in the car! and i wasn't flogging it either! bearing in mind the car isn't mapped yet running 0.65 bar 0.7 ish

no idea about them, but hey ho im not arsed, looking for an apexi AVCR at the mo, just trying to build up my parts for a Td04 conversion, going to run low boost 0.7 bar with a mapped emanage. all good fun!

got a few more pics, not much of an update, im still paying the car off, should only be a few months now then im 400 quid better off every month so i can start getting some bits together! also picked this bad boy up for a stupidly cheap price. there is no shaft play, and no signs on the turbine of oil use, me and my mate are going to strip it down and see what the condition is of the bearings and the seals.

how can i tell if its knackerd fella? i did boot it in 1st gear when i came hom efrom work this morning and i could see quite alot of smoke in the mirror! can't see much in an other gears tho.

one or two of my freinds who have been behind me for whatever reason have said that there is abit of blue smoke when i come on boost. i don't know if it carrys on whilst on boost but still none the less its not a good thing. i did a compression check a few weeks ago, and the results came back 175-170-165-155, i am using oil as well, but i was thinking of getting a TD04 kit with an emange running low boost, and then buying an engine and forging. The turbo isn't on its way out, there is no oil in the pipework, and its not long since bought from toyota brand new. the car still pulls strong just

sorry to hear that fella! better brakes would be good but would be useless without good tires and decent size alloys. the more road contact you have the less chance you have of locking up especially if you have ABS, hope your ok fella and get things sorted out.
