  3. If your not bothered about noise on turning and want quite an aggressive lsd then cusco is very good. I have a cusco MZ 1 way but it is extremely clunky slowly driving around corners and roundabouts. There is a few been up for sale recently on the forum. There are lots to choose from though from Kaaz-clutch type, TRD-clutch type, Cusco-clutch type, Quaife-mechanical*considered by many as extremely good and quiet*

  5. Stock fuel pressure is 2.3bar and i really wouldn't trust gauge or regulator. stock fuel regs are fine but in my opinion they do get tired so best bet is it to get a sard rising rate and a good electronic gauge maybe a prosport or stiri so you can monitor the pressure in the car.

  8. Depends what pistons are being used I.e wiesco/wossners and the clearances, i.e piston/wall gap. wiescos do make some noise on first start up but once warm are pretty silent, wossners are very quiet due to a different material used then the wiescos.
  9. I get 50-60 miles to £10 of V-power, fully forged, 440cc subaru injectors at 2.3 bar pressure, running 1.5bar on a billet td04. I think the low comp helps with better fuel economy but the above is just casually driving to work and back. Fuel gauge goes south fairly quickly flat out.

  15. Yea they do look very similar, the thing that is annoying me is somebody somewhere knows what the flippin thing is.
  16. by the looks of it, it isn't an mr2/MRS lsd either. The cases are completely different to the one i have in front of me

  18. I honestly never thought it would be this hard to find out what it is never mind sourcing a rebuild kit for it, went to a gearbox specialist as well and he even said he has never seen one like this. stumped!!
  19. I thought that the starlet lsds where all on the side of the box instead of being internal? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  21. I have a Cusco 1 way MZ and i can only change how aggressive the LSD is by the degrees on cam in-relation to the inner housing. All the cusco 1 ways are the same so it isn't a cusco. Thanks for your input tho! This is driving us up the wall!
