  2. For sale: 4x Wiesco Pistons & Scat Rods with Bolts Item Condition: Used but Good. Price and price conditions: £350 Delivered - England Only, if overseas I will have to get a price. Extra Info: Used Pistons that have approximately Covered around 40K in milage. No Cracks or signs of detonation - Managed 308hp with these and came off my 4E running fine, I will include rings which have around 13,000 miles on them also.   3. I have only ever worked with the EMB on windows XP and it ran fine - I bought a netbook years ago for a £70 and for mapping on the road it worked perfectly!

  7. Its not often i post but i just wondered if somebody could possibly point me in the right direction. Car starts fine & drives fine up until approx 1.1Bar upwards at around 5-5500 and then i get the engine light coming on. I would say 5 seconds after that the light goes out and everything is back to normal, the car doesn't splutter when the light comes on and pulls just as hard as it should. I am thinking knock Sensor but slightly unsure, which is why I'm posting this up. i have rev'd the car to around 3500 stationary for roughly 10 seconds but the light doesn't come on also.

I had this a couple of years ago, bit of bad ache as it was dripping fuel on my exhaust as well which is never a good thing but i managed to get a 2nd hand one from a trader on here. it was slightly rusty but went to the effort of stripping all of the surface rust off and then coating the entire thing in hammerite to protect it.
  9. Im after an Evo 8 with 650hp which won't be too hard to achieve but i would still like to keep the starlet for the small feeling/raw fun!
  10. I made my own harness and bought the connectors for the EMB end from simtek. its really easy to do once you have the pin outs for the ECU. I may still have the paperwork and if anybody wants the pinouts send me a PM. In total i think it cost me £12 for the connectors and its a lot cheaper then paying for original harness that does the exact same job.

  14. Mine is used as a daily back and forth to work, fully forged 308bhp and zero reliability issues at all. 2 years and still going strong.

  16. I haven't personally been on the dyno with it, but I could not see why it wouldn't make 300bhp with the right setup/mods.
  17. I personally have used blackpool road and rally for a crank regrind/bottom end balance for two builds 1 stock and 1 forged. Two very good friends of mine have also had work done there also which was crank on vauxhall redtop & bottom end balance - 5efe new little ends on pauter rods and just quite recently a K20 turbo with a re-bore/head/block skim and crank checked. a great company to be honest, turn around time can be awkward but they are always very busy.

  20. I hadn't seen that for a ages! it was parked up on the grass for sale and a few people who know me where saying there is a black glanza for sale up houghton. it disappeared so i thought it had been sold.
