Yer I've had a look at your build thread a few times and I know but I can't afford a 4age unless its a 16 valve which hasn't got much more than an extra 15-20 hp. Considering after I've had the engine I can scrap the old 4efe or sell it along with the rest of the donor car

I've done a little search into this and haven't really found much hard information about doing it, the reason why I'm looking into it is that unfortunately my sr is burning oil (over a liter last week alone) and I have been considering swapping the engine. Yes I know the 4age will give better results but I don't have the money nor the time to be able to source one and fit it. Basically, I wanting to know how hard is it to put a 4afe from a corolla into an ep91 as my research has come up with mixed results saying only drivers side mount needs changing to having to redo all them. I'm confide

Got two weeks off over Christmas after this week so hopefully get some stuff done plan is to get the front bumper ready for painting, get mr2 seats in, tint front indicators and see if I can make a mr2 barrel light fit on my starlet

Cheers, will warn ta that it will have a little juddering sometimes when cruising at low rpm but I recokon but of playing with the fuel will sort that out

It seems to be fine on pc but it may be phones as my phone turns it upside down aswell

I'll take another picture see if that fixes it

There weird thing is the graphs the right way up on my pc and then upside down on my phone :/

Look what went on a dyno today Very happy about it means more mods to come hopefully. Nice to see a figure like that after only a little few bits done

Also put a new valve on and move the pipe to go to the outlet of my filter which was blocked off runs better that way

Had to put a alternator on today the old one the bearing were going so down to the local scrappy got one of a 4efe corolla for £20 so happy days and got round to cleaning it as it was really dirty. by the way I used a sharpie to see what the rising sun would look like and I'm going to get it done properly at some point

Yer good point and that is where I got the idea from as I use my phone on lunch at work to have a little read

No pictures today, I've been tinkering today and got the starlet running a lot better. Put the mr2 idle valve on to replace the starlet one that was on the Mr2 tb. runs smoother and it likes cold starts a lot more than it did also put a pipe leading from the valve to the catch can

Recently been seeing a nice starlet on let's say POTM, looking there profile look on their topics/posts to try and find there builds and it can maybe be a bit of a battle some times. Anyone else found that? So I was thinking maybe on the tabs on the side add one 'build threads' to make it a little easier to find build threads. Also a possibility is to be able to have picture of the car under the title of threads. So what are people's thoughts on this? Pete

Well time will tell. Also FPR didn't go on today the adaptor plate I got in the kit doesn't fit so sending it back and looking for another one, seen one of id-workz but waiting to hear back. Did get the magnecor leads on today as they arrived

Would like to see around 85-90 I'll be happy with anything more

Tiny update: Got some news that my little starlet going on the dyno on the 6th December!! Also FPR to go on tomorrow Magnecor leads have been repaired and are being posted back. Pictures will come tomorrow if things go to plan.

No clue, it goes off after turning the engine onbut I don't have abs thats the weird thing. also the indicators work and high beam warning light works normally but the hazards make the high beam flash which is really weird
