had a wee kid shout nice car as i drove past him at the end of my street. and a junkie looking fucker at tesco ask if it was a pulsar....then proceed to tell me he used to have one, if he'd had one he'd know fine mine isnt a pulsar. he was also waiting on a taxi, so def could never afford either a glanza or pulsar.

Looks good If you were still after a JAM splitter, why not look at id-workz one? the photo for the splitter is a 98 spec white V. http://www.id-workz.co.uk/index.php?main_p...p;products_id=2

The mini countryman, and any other useless "4x4" like the x5 etc, they're all stupid and pointless. But the mini is more annoying, its just destroying the name mini, as its huge and pointless.

I keep coming back to it now, im beginning to get fed up of my other games although ps3 so no new map pack yet ;) psn id - scottyb_28 ill add some uksc folk the now.

mines been doing the same too, glad to hear its an easy fix. now just to find out where the thermostat is haha. -
Washed and stickered - one wheel is a bit knackered though, its like the lips corroded (kerbed a bit too )
-
mines been shit too, moneys gotten so tight i have to choose between running the car or paying my phone this month, then insurance renewal next month and its £800 more than last year so i'll have to pay it up in monthly instalments as well as paying back the money i loaned for the car too ;) lifes just a prick
-
i need my wheels done too as ive got kerbing and lacquer peel on a couple of the wheels ;) but i need somewhere in or near fife.
-
Little update on things. Was wanting to get on with modding now that xmas has passed. But.....insurance first. Renewal came through yesterday, £800 more than last year so its gone up to £1500. So phoning up the insurance tomorrow to see wtf they're playing at as nothing has changed apart from another years no claims. So will be phoning any company i can think of for quotes. Will hopefully get it washed and new sticker on this week too

i paid £4500 for mine, which was a near stock 98 V, only had the wheels, springs & shocks, backbox and panel filter. And im also the first UK owner of it. But it only had 36k on the clock. so id say that one is pretty high priced for the mileage on it.
-
That complete glanza is £20k! ouch. surely one could be built for less? well engine wise.
-
yep its that bit indeed. id love a front mount, but serious lack of funds prevents that happening for a long time, its more of a temp measure till i can get a fmic. would i just be better trying to put something on the metal edge to stop them rubbing away?

Ryan-11's 342 whp, banzai mag featured glanza!

i have to see this when its back on the road. Planning a few crail trips this year? or just waiting to see what happens with the car? i wish i had the money to get more done with my V, so many things i want to do but funds just dont allow -
Little question. because ive got rid of the standard dump valve, i had to make a blank plate for the efi pipe, which is just a bit of metal bolted over the hole. But the new dump valve is rubbing on it which is wearing away the metal on valve and plate. Is there any proper blanking plates for the pipe? or are they all custom made?
-
I'd be up for it as well, would prefer after jan though, so hopefully ill have mani and decat by then also.

The what did your EP get for Christmas thread.
scottyb replied to Sparky's topic in Lifestyle General
are they that rare? or is it just with the oem kit they're so rare? surely it'd be easier to get one and get a rep kit on it? i ordered a sticker for mine the other day. shall post a pic once its arrived. -
i want this rather badly http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOVE-MY-EP-Decal-sta...=item43a16b6f96
-
id def buy one too. still got to get uksc stickers too.
-
ah, was gonna say your glanza sits alot better on them than on mine, but mine are 14's.
-
are they real work equips? if so yay, another equip'd glanza on the forum ;) they 14s as well? the car looks great, red really suits them.

Scratchy's Glanza V "sue" (new pics added)
scottyb replied to Scratchy's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
its a nice looking glanza you have there. ever out and about in kirkcaldy or nearby areas? im in cupar. my glanzas been buried for about a week as well its crappp. -
cool. sounds like saving and getting both is the better idea then its still on the service from when i got it this summer so ill just put a small bit of 10-40 (as thats what ive got sitting in the garage) till i can get it serviced in a week or so.
-
whats the correct oil for the starlets? is it 5w-30? will i be ok with putting some 10w-40 in for a while? it's needing serviced, but not got the time atm, so just gonna top up the oil a bit till then. just been paid too, and im absolutely dying to get bits for the starlet, de-cat and manifold are right at the top of my list, but they're expensive. is there any point fitting a decat alone then waiting a while to get the manifold? or is fitting both better?
