Little question. because ive got rid of the standard dump valve, i had to make a blank plate for the efi pipe, which is just a bit of metal bolted over the hole. But the new dump valve is rubbing on it which is wearing away the metal on valve and plate. Is there any proper blanking plates for the pipe? or are they all custom made?

I'd be up for it as well, would prefer after jan though, so hopefully ill have mani and decat by then also.

are they that rare? or is it just with the oem kit they're so rare? surely it'd be easier to get one and get a rep kit on it? i ordered a sticker for mine the other day. shall post a pic once its arrived.

ah, was gonna say your glanza sits alot better on them than on mine, but mine are 14's.

are they real work equips? if so yay, another equip'd glanza on the forum ;) they 14s as well? the car looks great, red really suits them.

its a nice looking glanza you have there. ever out and about in kirkcaldy or nearby areas? im in cupar. my glanzas been buried for about a week as well its crappp.

cool. sounds like saving and getting both is the better idea then its still on the service from when i got it this summer so ill just put a small bit of 10-40 (as thats what ive got sitting in the garage) till i can get it serviced in a week or so.

whats the correct oil for the starlets? is it 5w-30? will i be ok with putting some 10w-40 in for a while? it's needing serviced, but not got the time atm, so just gonna top up the oil a bit till then. just been paid too, and im absolutely dying to get bits for the starlet, de-cat and manifold are right at the top of my list, but they're expensive. is there any point fitting a decat alone then waiting a while to get the manifold? or is fitting both better?

I thought, you could get insured on the business insurance with anything as long as its less than 1.6? or will they not accept an 4efte as its a serious modification?

Found a set of equips in 15" for £600 lol. so tempteddddd. although the enkeis are tempting too lol.

yeah ive been looking about and ill probably end up going for zisco and race tech stuff, looks really good quality and its pretty highly rated on here and tgtt. one thing im kind of stuggling to find though is decent fmic kits, although ive not been looking too much yet as i want to get handling and exhaust done first.

yea thats what i was thinking. no idea where id get my standard one ported. winters coming anyway, so i doubt ill be out spending much, so shall be starting saving for a few bits. found enkei rpf01s for £600ish though so i might end up going for them instead of rotas. 15" or 16" though?

has anyone had any dealings with nc performance on ebay? they're selling a stainless glanza manifold for £90. which seems pretty cheap for a manifold

any chance you're willing to sell the drivers side door handle?

yeah, most have you have just echo'd the usual comments. i love the wheels but they dont really suit the look i want tbh, the arch gap and tyre size really bugs me. I could go coilies etc and try to get it all looking great, but id rather have a bit of comfort etc than having it just look good on the wheels. so i'm going to try and get black and red gt3s i think. id ultimately want enkei rpfs but they're so damn expensive, and i cant bring myself to sell the equips. @bildo, yes they're real equips, 3 piece, work valve caps, all the work stamps on the wheels etc. and i forgot to put in the original post, its got RS*R suspension on it too.

Had my glanza since july, i've been after one since i was learning to drive but couldnt afford the insurance. But then after a couple of years it dropped to the same insurance as my 1.2 16v clio. So obviously i took the better option. Absolutley love it tbh. I'm the first uk owner too, was immaculate when i got it. Not done much to it yet apart from change the stereo to a uk cd player from the jap minidisc and fitted a forge motorsport dump valve. Mods - 14" work equip 01 Forge motorsport dump valve HKS panel filter GP Sports backbox. RS*R shocks and springs Future plans - get the optional front splitter and possibly the back one too, considering the duck spoiler also New wheels - looking at 15" rota gt3s FMIC - Not sure which one though decat downpipe and manifold buddy club spec 2 exhaust and eventually go bigger turbos and higher boost.
