theres a thread in the track and drag talk section about banzai @ crail at the start of june mate if thats any help?
-
ive got a rattle coming from the rear passenger side, sounds like the same thing as the parcel shelf thing already mentioned so ill be checking that out soon. also got one as the plastic bit where the speaker at the driver side is rattles like fook, think it all just needs tightening up then they'll be gone i hope

done up to 120 twice. but i pap out and slow down. could go faster though, although i think it'll take ages.
-
and now the tailpipe has come off the backbox. so its new exhaust time. which seeing as i cant afford one, my parents are going to loan me it for a wee while. i'd kill for a spec 2 but thats seeming impossible atm without either waiting months and getting from rhdjapan or travelling all the way down south to get it fitted. so, looking at other exhausts, blitz nur spec is a bit expensive though. whats the jperformance stainless ones like if anyone knows? i want one with quite a decent sound.
-
sounds like a decent amount going then ill hopefully be there, def going to try and get the sunday off as im not too fussed about the trackday. new exhaust needed first, the tailpipes come off of mine :S.

its all stupid. surely the car scene is about enjoying your car and appreciate that other people have criticisms about them all. not just making general sweeping statements about cars they've driven or anything. whats wrong with enjoying cars and the whole community they create all over the world? i understand car specific forums, but im 100% sure that most folk would happily have a dream car thats totally unrelated to what they have. its stupid.

Anyone going to be going? the 11th is a trackday with the 12th being like the usual crail events with show and shine, drag strip etc. Could be good to get a big load of us there? possibly even a club stand? although im not sure how that all gets arranged. judging by other threads (the rr day one) alot of people have things to do during march-april time, so this might be a good excuse to get out with the freshly sorted cars in hopefully decent weather.

http://www.jdmbits.com/search/label/Exhaust Email or fb message him. Seems to have a few or at least be able to source a few. ive spoken to him on fb about a few things, and generally seems quite helpful. -
seeing as its monster unit, it'll prob be high 200bhp at least. pretty sure they tend to have something like a minimum 250bhp in the club. they were featured in fast car a few months ago. theres some mental cars in the unit. someone should get the first starlet in it!

looks great, i still really want one but.... Garage Vary front splitter, and RS*R Exmag exhaust and it'll be perfect ;) -
i quite fancy it, depends on work though, as aberdeens about an hour away from me.

had a wee kid shout nice car as i drove past him at the end of my street. and a junkie looking fucker at tesco ask if it was a pulsar....then proceed to tell me he used to have one, if he'd had one he'd know fine mine isnt a pulsar. he was also waiting on a taxi, so def could never afford either a glanza or pulsar.

Looks good If you were still after a JAM splitter, why not look at id-workz one? the photo for the splitter is a 98 spec white V. http://www.id-workz.co.uk/index.php?main_p...p;products_id=2

The mini countryman, and any other useless "4x4" like the x5 etc, they're all stupid and pointless. But the mini is more annoying, its just destroying the name mini, as its huge and pointless.

mines been doing the same too, glad to hear its an easy fix. now just to find out where the thermostat is haha. -
Washed and stickered - one wheel is a bit knackered though, its like the lips corroded (kerbed a bit too )
-
mines been shit too, moneys gotten so tight i have to choose between running the car or paying my phone this month, then insurance renewal next month and its £800 more than last year so i'll have to pay it up in monthly instalments as well as paying back the money i loaned for the car too ;) lifes just a prick
-
i need my wheels done too as ive got kerbing and lacquer peel on a couple of the wheels ;) but i need somewhere in or near fife.
-
Little update on things. Was wanting to get on with modding now that xmas has passed. But.....insurance first. Renewal came through yesterday, £800 more than last year so its gone up to £1500. So phoning up the insurance tomorrow to see wtf they're playing at as nothing has changed apart from another years no claims. So will be phoning any company i can think of for quotes. Will hopefully get it washed and new sticker on this week too
-
i paid £4500 for mine, which was a near stock 98 V, only had the wheels, springs & shocks, backbox and panel filter. And im also the first UK owner of it. But it only had 36k on the clock. so id say that one is pretty high priced for the mileage on it.
-
That complete glanza is £20k! ouch. surely one could be built for less? well engine wise.
-
yep its that bit indeed. id love a front mount, but serious lack of funds prevents that happening for a long time, its more of a temp measure till i can get a fmic. would i just be better trying to put something on the metal edge to stop them rubbing away?
