  5. Yeah it's grey like in the picture and it does sound like it is coming from the inlet manifold area?

Hi guys fitted new motor got it running when it's sat idleing it's making a tapping noise,it's not really loud sounds like a tappit noise, I hav checked the service hole on the inlet cam and I can get a screw driver through so hole is lined up, is there two holes that can line up or does anyone know what it may be? Thanks
  7. Hi guys wanting to stick my glanza back to standard boost on the high and low lolinoide (sorry spelling it shit) can anyone tell me where the two pipes are sposed to go off the turbo and actuator and on the electric solinoide? Thanks

Hi guys taking the engine out my glanza it's gotta come out the top as I only hav a small garage and can't get the car high enough, can you leave the gear box in the car or is it easier to take it out with the motor? Also looks like the batter tray is going to get on the way! Can any on provide so good advice? Thanks

Hi guys need some help posted a thread yesterday about low compression, fitted new rings and found I had low compression, I hav checked the timing and all is fine but somone has mentioned somthing about a service bolt for the inlet cam gear, I havnt used one and new nothing about it can someone explain and could this be the reason for having low compression still? Thanks?
  13. Yes the two dots line up wiv the single one on the back of the cam gears, and no I didn't know about a service bolt? Where does this service bolt go and what does it do?
  14. Well I chucked some oil down the bored and tryed it again and and compression went up to 75psi I hav re checked the timing and all the marks line up?
  15. I'm after a good condition/running 4efte engine, can anyone help?
  16. 128km, I think it's the bores hav worn! I hav cut my losses and started taking the motor out!
  17. I cleaned all the pistons and checked them all they looked fine all the ring grooves where fine to!
