oh thats a relief, i know the pump works fine when the engines running i can hear it whizzing away but it just conceded me that it didn't prime. but if thats how they are then thats another item ticked off the long ass list of to do's lol thanks for the info mate, appreciate it
fuel pump doesn't prime when ignition is switched on but runs fine when engine is running? is this normal as id imagine it should prime on ignition? if not any ideas on what could be the issue? relay? not enough voltage to the pump on ignition? unsure if it needs a live feed from the battery with an inline fuse and relay?
well that was my original thought, obviously came out the factory with one and it serves a purpose.
i am going emanate ultimate early in the new year having done my top mount conversion etc..
i think it may be worth a try shaun if you don't mind id really appreciate it. not 100% confident it will cure my fuelling issue as theres a fe lads on here running without and have no issues.
no mate no eml.. it ran stupidly rich before i did my top mount conversion. still runs rich on tick over but then goes into 15's on the wideband gauge so not sure if its down to no lambda I'm supposed to be able to run .6 bar with no management before it starts to run lean but i already run lean? kinda stuck and being my daily i don't really like driving it as it is
Right, brought my car a month or so back. Started doing bit on it as after I fitted My afr wideband I realised I was running too rich.. Soon after realised there was no lambda sensor in sight. Anyone have any idea why? Can they run without fine or is it just someone that has no idea what there doing? Can't see myself that it would help the cars fueling if its taken off? Any help appreciated
Just removed my standard ct9, no play or smoke or anything. done 50k on my engine. Gone td04 so mayaswell sell it on. Is it worth selling? Is it worth much?
Just after abit of knowledge.. Love the gt28 top mount kit that racetech do. Is there much point going for that kit on stock internals? What is the max boost pressure I can run? Spool time? Power outcome..250bhp? Not Sure what standard Internals are capable of?
Right, doing a top mount turbo conversion. What kind of power can I go up to on the standard internals? anyone have any idea what the max power I can run on the standard internals?
Thanks guys, looks like an emanage is my best bet.. Probably the ultimate if anything. Tuning developments are supposed to be good with the emanage. Have thought about a standalone ecu instead of a piggy back but they all seem very expensive when a buggy back can always do the same?
