Where is the fuel sender unit located and would I need to replace the whole thing or can I fix the faulty bit that's causing the light not to work?

It does not bother me as I've been driving for over 6 months since it stopped working but I just like things to work, I know I'm being a bit obsessive but that's me. I was told a while back that's it good to let the tank get low so there is less crap deposited at the bottom of the tank, don't know how true that is but it's become a habit now. Thanks 👍🏻

Thanks for the reply So I should stick with the standard fuel rail and injectors. Should I get the fuel pressure regulator fitted or just leave it as it is? I would love to get the Jam ecu but 550 at the moment is difficult as I've just spent out quite a bit. Will buy it if it's still up for sale in a few weeks. Cheers guys.

I'm just modifying my standard Glanza and have got the following parts Hybrid ct9 Td fuel rail Bigger tm intercooler Fuel pressure regulator Decat Zisco ss ram horn mani I'm running the standard ecu at the moment and before all of the above go on I'm thinking of changing the injectors. Should I just stick with the standard or upgrade them? Does anyone have any suggestions as to which injectors I should get?

Can anyone help me My warning light has stopped working I've checked the bulb and it's fine and fuel gauge works properly What else could be causing the light not to come on when low on fuel? All suggestions appreciated

I've just brought a ct-9 hybrid and intercooler and decat. Waiting to get a manifold now and then will find out what went wrong with the old turbo when its removed. Should I wrap the mani when I get it? It will probably be zisco ss ram horn. Hope they are good.

Noticed it has started to smoke a bit but it's not constant. Car has used over a litre of oil in 4 days use doing less than 100km. I will take off air filter and check to see if the wheel is ok.

Took it to garage today for mot it flew thru and got them to take a look at turbo, when you take the pipe off the actuator and put your finger on it, it is actually like a vacuum sucking in air when you rev engine. They pressure tested the actuator and it worked. I've got it booked in next week where they will remove turbo and check it out.

The clip is still on the pin and I gave the actuator a pull and it seemed fine as the spring is pulling the arm back. Obviously I haven't actually seen it working so don't know if actuator is working correctly. If the actuator was faulty what would the car drive like / tell tail signs? Cheers 👍🏻

I've had a look and can't see or feel anything missing. If the turbo has gone would there definitely be smoke? Two pipes off the intercooler are connected fine.

Thanks I'll take a look and see what I can find. It is a standard intercooler which sits on top of the engine.

Thanks for the reply Where would the pipe be located? As I recall on or around the time it stopped working I thought I heard something hit the bottom of the car, like I had gone over something and it bounced and hit under the chassis while I was in 3rd lane M6. Thanks

I was driving on the motorway 3rd lane doing 120-140kmh and the turbo just stopped working no pressure, no green lights on dash, no noise from the dump valve, no oil leaks or any pipe breaks and waste gate looks ok from what I can see. Everything else is ok or seems ok. Has anyone come across this problem before? What should I be looking for to find out what has gone wrong? Could something have fallen off the car?
