  1. cheers again . id be fooked without this forum and the people on it . gauge ordered and will get it book for fuelinf this week. i guess ill need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if it turns out im lean or rich
  2. nice one man ill order one of them. if i had the money id get everything now just a bit of an eager beever the JAM ecu is plug and play. removes fuel cut, increases RPM and adjust fueling so im led to belive. i also read that its fine to run them at stock boost as they have fuel settings that adjust depending on boost but it does recomend a fueling check... as far as im aware you cannot change the map as such, they are just a bit more aggressive than stock plus the other things mentioned. apparently JAM and various others did these ECU's for toyota demo cars etc originally ( key word being a
  3. ok bud cheers for advice im still learning
  4. yeh gonna get booked into for afr . i know im running rich it smells like it
  5. sound ! are those prosport LED ones any good ? bought the jam for future mods and i was hitting fuel cit after exhaust and decat stuff done so far: exhaust (custom) decat Ac removed JAM ecu short route intake i know its not much so far but the ECU made a huge difference . car running much nicer will get gauge ordered tomorrow then still to come in next month or two exhaust manifold hks actuator fuel pump front mount intercooler also wanting to up boost to 0.85 after that gear on
  6. well the issue with the low boost was due to air filter being hard uo againat pipe and not lettting air in.. all ive done is given it th air back. stock boost etc.. just feels much better with the short route which is making me think the boost is creepin now gonna order a gauge tomorrow as well para now haha
  7. nah standard actuator and boost, gauge on order
  8. right MASSIVE SCHOOLBOY ERROR... basically the filter has like a circular hardstop inside (almost same size as intake pipe ) and i had bottomed it out on the pipe haha moved it back an inch or so and now its boosting like a champ infact its well more rapid off the line now so worried im actually getting creep got decat, jam ecu etc but not uprated mani or front mount yet so para i melt a piston ( need to get a boost gauge) so thumbs up to monstermotorsport for this one however the pipe is a fair bit longer than it needs to be ( got about 1.5 in clearance from rad and just shy of hitting t
  9. oh and seems to get 3 bars when light throttle low gears but when i pick up speed or put the foot down it instally drops to 2 bars sounds like a boost leak
  10. okay so remove actuator hose from metal pipe and still not boosting properly checked all hoses and look fine . efi pipe was bastard to get and got a bit ruffer then i would of liked with it but dont see any cracks in intercooler pipework are you supsoed to relocate oil filter as the hose is hard up against it ? any chance the filter is not pullong enouhj air in ? peed off
  11. okay mate cheers dan will go try now
  12. okay guys so fitted today and left actuator hose venting to atmosphere "tie wrapped" to side of dump valve and now the car wont boost past 2 bars (little green lights)
  13. yeh cheers i think i will go that route especially with the guarentee
  14. do WEPR have a shop ? price for mani new ?
  15. okay cheers stu. yes its the pipe going to actuator. i will just leave it open to atmosphere. would like to just remove the solenoid altogether but cant find tutorial cheers
  16. okay cheers guys i have a pm about WEPR one so may get that cheera
  17. Went thru the toyotagt forums and eventually found to leave it vented as it relieves pressure from actuator
  18. Wanting to either port or go aftermarket... Wud seem aftermarket tends to crack easy ? Tunning developmeny any good ? Alot of money to crack
