I'm looking for the same and have been looking at redline, they seem pretty good and know starlets well they will probably put it on a unichip supplied fitted and mapped for just under 700
-
Haven't really seen people who put in twin pots also upgrade the master but will look in to it, thanks guys
-
Yes was hoping that a full bleed of the system would do a lot, but didn't know if that was the only problem and didn't want to make it worse with bigger brakes
-
Okay so should make a small difference, maybe some braided lines could help as well
-
Okay so we all know the stock glanza brakes are rubbish all round so I'm upgrading to 260mm twin pots.
Will doing this also improve brake feel as when I press the pedal now it has a lot of travel in it before it does anything.
Going to be bleeding the full system as well and adjust the pedal as best I can so I hope it will feel like a more modern car.
What are your experience with getting bigger brakes.
Thanks

Great stuff don't wana seem like I'm bugging him really.
Sent him 3 messages already lol
He doesn't live far from me as well so could even pick them up

Hummm just have to wait till russ gets back to me then I think, really need new set up as the stock brakes are shocking
-
levin twinpot brakes go well with opel astra disks apec 2188
get them cut down to 260mm
and 1.5mm from the inside pdc face
no longer wheel studs needed
and no spacers needed
See when I was talking to russ he said the astra discs don't need any work to fit the gt4 twin pots, it's all bolt on just need a spigot ring
-
Yer he is a great guy but think he has a lot on right now as hasn't replied to me, really wanted his 260mm kit and need it asap

Hi everyone
I'm after a twin pot brake kit for my glanza
If anyone has one or any information on the best way to make one up that would be great
Thanks

Pm'ed if you still have them

Ok so as everyone knows glanzas don't come with rear fogs and they are normally put in when they get shaped over from Japan,
Whoever done mine made a bit of a mess and I want to cut it all out and start again.
So I'm guessing I will need a relay and a switch with a light on it when it's in the on position.
The fog lights them self's are a double filament bulb in the 2 bottom parts of the lights so when side lights are on the tops and the bottoms of the lights are on, when I put my foot on the brake the top 2 glow brighter as the double filament kicks in and also the spoiler light turns on, and when the rear fog lights are switched on the bottom 2 glow brighter.
Can someone please tell me where they tap in to, to get there fused constant live and switched live ect
A wiring diagram would be great
Thanks for any help

Putting some though in to getting and building a forged 5e.
But would I use the head off the 5e or do I need to get one from a 4efte, same with the cams, can I use a 5e head but have to run the 4efte cams. Or does it not matter what so ever?
So what bits do I HAVE to use from the 4efte to make it turbo.
I was going to get a sump from a 4e ep95 and get it baffled as there is a possibility I will be putting this in to a 4 paw in the future.
Any help would be great
Thanks

Hi everyone
Just really wanted to see what people have done to there front bumpers when adding a front mount.
Mainly looking at the stock bumpers but if you have an arftermarket one would be cool to see aswell.
If you could post pictures below that would be great.
Thanks

The unichip does look like a good ecu if your not looking to go standalone only downside is not a lot of people map them
