http://www.mwsteel.eu/en/ Then my friend Joni Marttila TIG welded flange, so it won't leak ever, better choice than me with MIG. He's homesite, amazing tuner
New walls inside, fuelgauge sender had to keep, so that must remember to check before welding. I bended walls every direction and welded those together and on to bottom.
This was my mission, add EE100 Corolla parts to Starlet carburator tank, don't wanna outtank pump or other boot systems. This is silent oem style and no extra problems in MOT.
This has been my tank for two month now, works well. One hose is temporaly breather hose, didn't wanna do any extra holes. Fuel line goes sparewheel waterdrain hole and joins metall old pipe under seat.
Need my car everyday, so have to do some patent for gasolin, 5L test for engine room, fits but not good idea anyway, because have to do holes for hoses and it was too hard. This tank could have 100km range, thanks small compsution 1E engine.
I have EE100 Corolla and took tank away and noticed that it won't fit to Starlet, so what a hell, lets do some cutting, always wanted to see how efi tank looks inside.
So rusty car and tank, didn't even leak, should I make some lottery Sorry I have to do new post and pictures add, hate my Samsung phone, not easy to drive truck and try copy/paste pictures from photobucketshit :/
It was time to think future for injection engine, so I took old rusty fueltank away. Wanted to see dimention and maybe test other tanks from other cars. Don't wanna tank inside car, best place is original and still can carry things in my boot. Oem turbo/diesel tanks are not choice, about 700 new one and Finland don't have any used on market. This car is my exam spare car, earlier took rear axle away for modification.
Different own color style, nice Only annoying universal thing is why people don't take glasses away when painting cars, so easy specially on Starlets, weakest rustpoints are bootlid corners under seals, inside moisture is very clever...
