Maybe I use normal cast n/a mani and turbo tb for temporaly injection swap to EP70, had anybody tested this combo, maybe with oem cast iron 4-2-1 exhaust manifold or even with welded 4-1 steel mani?

FTE vs FE.

FTE tb between engines. Here man can see tubular mani flange, right side needs more material to fit sealing, so welding is one option, don't wanna hassle more so no thanks. Maybe I just use oem small tb or not.

FE vs FTE tb, perfect fit, that cast mani also have allready bigger hole behind tb.

And I also have one extra 4E-FTE tb and one full intake/tb. Both these engines have about same size tb and all tb have same bolt pattern , but flanges are different :/ So I tryed to fit tree bigger tb's to newer Gen tubular intake, didn't fit. And if adding bigger, then there is litlle edge lefting, but only few millimeter. Biggest problem is air channels in tb, right side paper/metall seal don't match.

I have few spare 4A-FE intakes and don't remember what cars these are. So it was time to see if bigger TB's gona fit to few 4E-FE intakes.

That first time when You try EP70 with oem steeringwheel, tyres and pedals <3 Can´t believe how sensitive car feels and that thing is weight. P9 is so fatty, don´t worry about that, early P8 is bigger challenge to beat. Okay, another cam, turbo, wastegate, intercooler, LSD, bigger brakes, coilovers, rollgage, arbs, etc, then it weights maybe 800kg max. I have scaled my EP70 and it was 740kg with 14" alloys, 5spd gearbox and all interior on. Very curious other peoples P7 driving weights...

Glad to know that I'm not alone with idiot building ideas I maybe distric power to 300hp and 300-400Nm torque. All gona be custom made later, first I have to get it legal here in Finland, so have to do basic 4E-FTE version and before that temporaly 4E-FE. And handling first to street/track use, this gona be streetcar. Now using it dailydriving car and doing long days at work, so very slow going forward :/ And need money also, living with my son together and have to think him also, and girlfriend Hopefully somebody is reading this topic, feelings are that I'm here speaking alone

It's not tightening anything, it's there only for centerin axle and keeping it there. Only need adjusting if chacing riding height much.

How well that Glanza tank went, that was my first plan, but desided to keep old, free space low point space for exhaust silencer or future mods. Normal EP91 4E-FE tank is maybe identical to Glanza.

Little bit flexible rear without panhard JayJ Adjustable panhard is maybe needed, specially lowered...

Purchased few extra Depo corner lamps for future, so hard to get nearly anything to this model :/ Hunting also new bumpers and fenders, also turbo bonne. Rear sideglass seals for hinge version needed, if somebody have, I pay fair price + sending cost to Finland?

I can take my old exhaust mani flange and try do something exhaustmix if intake side is modified also, first intake. Left Garret T3/4 own fastmade mani and CT12, Garret was on my 5E-FTE years ago.

I do have exhaust ready, few heads and TB, or should I go SW20 MR2 n/a part swap straight, longer mani etc. By the way tested MR2 3S-GE 318cc high impedance injectors to FTE rail and connectors, bolt on. Way too big for n/a but good for little tuned FTE.

Fuck, found lot of your conversation about inlet/TB, your ukso, thanks So man should go staight to 5E-FTE, very soon I found myself doing n/a engine with 4A-FE TB and exhaust, arg :/

Thanks Daniel Amazing torgue in Gen2, very stable, but only 85hp :/ Huge difference, very rare. I thougt that Gen2 revs much more that one.

And point was has somebody dynoed or are these only feelings? Have You tested those with exhaust manifolds or just intake, because exhaust manifolds are also different.

Older version Corolla engine is fine and newer is broken somehow, got it free. So should I move intake and exhaust manifolds to older engine, is there really so much difference on dyno or real life, waste of time? Doing some fast engine change to my EP70, before turboing 5E. I may put turbo 4E-FTE intake and exhaust manifold to this 4E-FE n/a for testing, so T- manifold is one choise also, biggest gasthrottle. Electrics are not problem, have to do it anyway when going 1E>4E, only few differences.

Try and tell, I was too lazy to drop exhaust down, Not 100% sure that it fits, but I tested that center part goes. Also losted one metall bushing bracket, gona do few new one from 3mm plate. Mission impossible to find oem stabilaizer here and those are so thin anyway, 24mm sounds much better, maybe 22mm after sandblasting I have few pictures at home, later can post.
