  1. No more rubbing with OEM panhard. Rear can handle 225 wide wheel, tested, still inside wheel arch, needs rolling if goin low. haven´t desided yet what size tyres gona come, but 15" is my size, best size for track and street tyres.
  2. Little bit high my rear, Kyb Excel-G gas shocks and oem springs, and no interior and just tools and 12L gastank boot. So horrible to drive with too light rear. If I add weight, all changes so much, better way. Panhard level on wheels with this setup.

  4. Here is panhard and bodybracket, have to calculate and think how much have to lower car. Panhard goes vertical level if car is max load, so have to know driving height and coilover length. Maybe I do adjustable support or not, damn that MOT is pain in the ass, have to think that also. Oem look but shorter is compromise.
  5. And thanks Morgey. Bodyparts are hard here and sometimes laws also, so have try alternatives choises and use newer parts, thanks also to Toyota, so many parts can use from other models. Glad that this car is so simple <3 Here is EP91 and EP70 panhards, that EP91 sucks for modification, idiot U shape rod, gona do new EP70 style, first have to do new shorterbodybracket, can't go low enough now.
  6. Maybe I should do own panhard, cant´t be so difficult. Added earlier EP91 panhard, 1cm shorter than EP70. My car´s rear is not lowered an d had to put old one back, because rear 195/50R15 Renault wheels was rubbing right side sometimes, offset is something like 50mm. Later that newer axle gives 1cm more outside, so more room that way anyway. Should I put MR2 Phoenix Power exhaust same time, 14kg, would be badass but not sleeper anymore. No my mate gona do stainless exhaust...
  7. Those snap very easy, just 15Nm is max and have broken those often under that. Use some furtinure bolt or similar if can´t find proper bolt, works, not so much stress...

Very nice AP71, severals time have looked this project even before joining this ukso forum So sad that man can´t have that kind of beast roadleagal here in Finland, so have to try struggle with E-series engines :/ Point is front weight, that is main problem here, small adding is ok but we can´t change front axle weight so much.   9. First "EP71 Cusco" search gave me Your Project Stu So You used to have TRD and now Cusco. What I can say is my LSD lookin like Your broken unit, right one, TRD?
  10. Thank Westie, I though I was only one who is speaking here, more is coming He was selling TRD LSD and never used that, he bought full frontcut. I only have seen some internet universal LSD pictures, so here we are. Thanks for that info Stu, hard googling is that Cusco news bad or good thing :/

  14. Summer 2015. Now 12 years old 2016, saving this car for him, also Starlet. Six years to get driving licence, his plan is Evo9 for first car, what went wrong :/

  16. Same time and from same guy had CT12 turbo with 4E-FTE castiron manifold, so I bougt it also. 400 all, gearbox+turbo+LSD, not bad price in Finland, in UK this would be expensive...
  17. Problems with grip, no thanks, suffered times ago with my 5E-FTE open diff Corolla. Found TRD mechanical LSD, problem solved maybe.
  18. Little bit newer Glanza gearbox for future. Already have changed Corolla 5spd to my 1E, some dessert ratio tranny, only 2200rpm @ 100km/h speed. Don't know what tranny to use with turbo engine...

  21. Few Corolla EE80 GT pictures for inspiration, still having this, made it 20years ago, most of members maybe just have born, I'm old fart 218hp and 300Nm at 0.8bar was best on paper, got it bigger boost also. Engine 5E-FTE and with simple mods. Later own topic for this...
