Hey guys im building a forged 5efte with td05 set-up basicly what im wanting to know is what head work is advised.. Im already thinking ported and polished with cuize valve springs.. Is there any valves i can use to make a big valve head and what other work willneed to be carried out ? ALso what other things would you advise to do when i do this build (any thingg at all) So far i have planed 5efe block and crank ACL race bearings Forged rods 75mm pistons (forged) 4efte head (rebuilt) 4efte Sump 4efte Pickup 4efte thermostat housing 4efte Oil Filter Housing Oil cooler 5efe Flywheel but

i wont be boltng them on till its ready to be remapped it just that i read some where the blue cant hanlde above 50% rise than the stock injector size... This is why i want to make sure first Will i loose any benefitts that i need if i run the blue

Hi guys on my last car i had td04 with everything running emanage ultimate with 550cc injectors On my new car it already has an emange blue so what i want to know will this run my tdo4 wih the 550cc injectors aswell as i was once told it would not but im sure i have seen someone with one on theres??? Info please if i can use the blue ill sell my ultimate which is all wired into a harness for plug and play

should there be a second unit somewhere that actually adjusts the boost level as i dint think it could be done electronicly as such not without something to go in the pipe work i would have thought ?

Any body all i need to know is where the pipe goes to i have a feeling it goes in the pipe between the actuator and turbo housing ? but if so should it have a one way valve or something i dunno but can someone help me out please:)

Ok ive brought a new car and all seems to be wired in ok :surrender: Can any one tell me where the pipe of the back of it should be going to and does this unit run its own map sensor ??? Reason i ask is i have a second lambda sensor and cant seem to trail the wire back to see what it goes to and also i woould like to make sure its plumbed in right as it seems to do nothing when i change the boost setting... Also does this unit remove boost cut ??? Or do i need a HKS FCD and wire it to the ecu wiring direct many thanks :surrender:

or i can get a 1.2 from speedvision for around 125 with express delivery would this mean i still need to map ?

Hey guys right well nothing but shit for me this week Oil pump failure caused my 255.6bhp EP91 to spin a shell knacker the crank and score a rod .... So i have it in the garage stripped with all parts new New crank New rods (awaiting arrival) New oil pump Uprated shells ARP stud converstion for the head Basicly at the mo it has a 1.4m cruise head gasket and getitng another one f these i less than a week is becoming impossible. What i want to know is what is the standard sice of the OEM Gasket (thickness) and if two of these will hold the same as my 1.4.... Basicly the garage need t

Thanks for the helpfull info But there are starlets with more power than that and with it being forged etc it should be able to handle it

the build has done about 5k and less than a k at 255.6bhp couldnt get the head of today it seems somefucker has nicked some of my spanners and some of my alan key heads for my sockets so will go andf get new on monday and continue then L( This noise did not affect the cars drive in anyway but was starting to increasingly get louder hence me taking it off the road

OK so i have a knocking noise on my glanza basicly its in pot one when the spark lead is connetced to the plug when this is disconnected there is no knock this has only occured since my remap well a week after the map made 255.6bhp at 1.3 bar my engine is fully forged and i now im stuck to what it can be.. My mate whipped the rocker off and as far as we can see there is no damage there... SO tomorrow gonna whip the head of and check fr pistone slap someone mentioned it could be piston slap from rings breaking down or small end bearing.. Any ideas folks PLEASE

The engine is fine as it is forged with 550 cc injectors uuprated pump etc and emengae ultimate So boost level please And for those who want to know at 1.0 bar I made 235.6 @ fly
