Cheers fella its took some time pennies and hardwork but im slowly getting there just cant wait for my new parts to arrive

OK so august last year i gave my missis 4 grand whilst i was away to buy me a starlet. After the week i was away i got home to find the below car pulled up at my workplace waiting for me.. I was well chuffed. Pics from the showroom where the missis got it from So i had a new car well after 4 days it seems my luck started to fail me. The starlet died with serious smoking problem and missfiring bad. So the fun baecame and i started to strip it we had an idea what the problem was so we began to strip the starlet. When stripping the starlet we noticed the car was full of tie raps. But there was no need for most it just ssilly brackets missing or boilts missing. Once the engine was striped my suspicions were confirmed i had killed a piston (due to running 1 bar with no fueling mods and boost cut.... I brought it like this and didnt know So i began ordering from toytuning. Full engine gasket set Ross racing 74.5mm pistones Forged Scat Rods 1.4mm Cruize head gasket new cambelt oil filter(s) Petrol Filter New ball joint New CV Boots Magnetic sump plug new big ends New mains Then the actual work on my engine started Had all the bores redone new shims face ground head skimmed both bathed. then we put it back to gether after die drinding the bottom of the bores to take the new rods. So we got it all back to gether to find the oil scrappers were knackered. So order a second set of Ross rings and began building again Pics from first attempot with shit oil scrappers then it was back together again finallyit took nearly 7 months most of which was waiting on parts and engine work to be done lol.. how she stands at present Only downside is how noisey the clutch is but ah well shit happens Spec as it stamds Engine : Forged ross racing pistones 74.5mm, Forged scat rods, new big end and main shells, new shims, 1.4mm cruize layered metal headgasket, HKS actuator, WEPR FMIC, cone filter located behind bumper, ORC 309 Clutch, NGK Iridium Plugs, Magnacor leads, Blitz DV, Oil catch can, Decat, Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust. Chassis and trans: Tein Coilovers, TRD short shifter, LSD, Uprated front ARB, Cusco Strut brace (front), 3 Point toyota rear strut. Blitz boost gauge, oil pressure gauge fancy gear knob crap lol crappy evo 4 front seats, 15inch white multispokes light weight so im told, New WEOR FMIC... Ive probs missed loads tbh Parts ordered and Soon to be here Vems AFR boost gauge and wideband lambda sensor, Emenage ultimate full kit with sensors, Plug and play field harness, Wepr TD04 Mani, WEPR TD04 downpipe polished TD04l turbo, smaller rad, braided water and oil for turbo lines, Screamer pipe (i think), 550cc Injectors, Walbro Fuel pump, TRD engine Mount set.. I think thats around about it lol

Well im still unsure if the calipers are TRD my self lol ill get some pics soon so people can help me decide.... Anyways ive now ordered my scat rods and am just awaiting the delivery then it shall all be going back together woop woop lol Has any one had one of the WEPR TD04l kits thinking of getting one aswell as uprated fuel pump sard 550cc injectors emenage ultimate... opinions please

if my glanxa is on the road by this im well up for it if we make this late afternoon or evening we could all meet up with the cruise notts sunday night folks a millers then go for after activities who ever wants to with them Just an idea

all parts are here and work did start lol DID .... But then after i had the forgies fitted to my std rods i thought i want forged rods also so in january i will be ordering my forged rods then as soon they arrive work will start again... She will only be running STD to start then hopefully by the end of march i will have the cash for td04 setup and mapping etc

Hey mate toby is invoiceing me for them today along with someother stuff but he has not asked for anything about thickness is any of them ok to use ?

well odayu hopefully i will have paid for my Big end and main shells and my full engine gasket set which has set me just back under £300

going to get the td04l from speedvision in there kit.... Well i aint uprating the ords as ive had to buy yet more other things just to get it back on the road lol i might raise it a lil ill see how i go im still thinking of billet cams for nect year hmmmm... decision decision decision lol

Looking good folks.... Is there no better skin that can be modded to work better for you ??? that can be set as default... Something jap style aswell as keeping it simple ?

my aim is for my full setup to be safe and reliable.... Engine will have full new gasket set pump and all pulleys are perfect the cams are mint and so is the crank.. I'm changing the big end and main shells aswell so the engine should be in A1 condition with any luck..

yeah forged with std rods mate ...... I aint thought about the limietr at all yet tbh will my rods be good for a safe 250bhp as thats my aim in the end... also what is a safe limiter ? for the td04 setup ???

I'm just going on by what i was told lol.... Are the wickep ep fmic's any good if not it shall be changed lol

no but apparently the calipers are made by TRD and i asked toby and he confirmed

Dunno if its already been mentioned depending on your hosting space and bandwith this is but would be nice for each memeber to have there own lil gallery...] Even if they only alowed 10 pics its better than nothing... Also if your hosting aint any good look in my signature we can cater for any ones needs and do a package at a great rate to suit you

ohh and forgot to aff it also has TRD Brakes and Evo 4 front seats which will eventually be re trimmed with the rest of the interior

well on mine ive got ordered and awaiting delivery 74.5 ross racing pistones and a 1.4mm head gasket much better for higher boost and alot safer to run the higher boost
