thats what i mean, its behind the bumper so it will not get wet. on top of that, there would not be enough vaccum to pull it up a vertical pipe then the other length with a fairly steep angle on it. i run my filter relocation kit on my turbo starlet and its been soakin before, thats right behind the grill. also as the wheels are behind the kit, and the arch plastics still remain in place, it will deflect the majority of the water from puddles etc. im not saying it will be 100% dry but i realy cannot see it being a problem

here they are.. right first from the engine bay: this ones of the 2nd bend, lookin down next to the battery. and this one shows the end of the filter, and the reason for the removal of the plastic trim. many of you may think this is too low, but the gearbox and sump are lower, and you cant see the filter from the front of the car unless your on the ground! my friend looks like he has size 15 feet here in the last one. anyone youve got some idea of what im on about now, and any comments welcome. will get better pics 2moro.

As of yet i am not sure of the cost it will be to manufacture, so cant give you any financial info. all i can say is that it relocates a 200bhp rated filter down to the bottom of the engine bay, away from all the heat of the engine, and right next to the coldest air available. it will require the removal of one peice of the under plastic. as i said i ran the filter in the engine bay and had just a standard cold air feed to it. far from ideal, especialy on a hot day. took this out tonight, seemed to rev a lot better, and sounded different to it being in the original area. sounded alot more grun

wow been realy long time since ive looked at this thread! thort i would let you know whats the current status with this car well being as my white one is now sorted, ive had a bit more chance to mess about with this one. however as mine is on the road this no longer has the rota wheels on it so its rocking the stealies atm! cant get a white Inovit STVI in white for love nor money. tried loads of places. people that have them wont split a set, and people that will split a set dont have the correct size and fittment in stock. been in touch with POTN about 2 months ago, and they said yeah 3 wee

im assuming this thread has been done, before but i dunno what manifold to get. mine has cracked all around the turbo flange. its a cheap toyosports one, so not realy suprising. so in the market for a new one. idealy want a stainless one as they look better in my engine bay. but is stainless just guna go again? or will a proper one last? and which ones are there? Cheers guys, need this sorting asap as cars off the road

orrrr... get a cloth, wet some mud on the floor ( mud pie consistency ) then rub it on sparingly, comes up like new, but doesnt scratch the tail pipe. serious u will be so suprised, and its free! i won a tenner doing it, when i brought my VR6 the twin tail pipe was just rust and black, even after washing, it looked like the tip was from bottom of the ocean, after about 5 mins work and a rinse they looked like new!! dare you to try it

well errr thanks for that... if i had been to follow your instructions, it would have only ended in catastrophy.. either a, the parked cars would have become my target, or B, a brick garden wall. when i say tight left, i mean tight left. all i was trying to do was stop the car from doing as much damage as i could. as for the lesson in drifting... ermm yeah just no. lol had quite a crowd while it was working lol, loads of people were videoing me, and then i got in my mates s13 and did a spot of drifting in that! god i miss rear wheel drive turbo! time for a new project me thinks! any -

hi all, while chasing my dreams to become DK, (yes i know the plan was floored from the start being front wheel drive and all) but i had a couple of minor accidents. number one was turning into my road, gear 2 on tick over, so no more than 5 ish mph took the sharp left, then al of a sudden the back swung with no warning. so i steered into corner and pumped the breaks but there just wasnt enough space on the tight little road, and my front wheel smashed into a kerb. its realy badly scuffed the wheel and my tracking is a fucker now, steering wheel is on the piss lol! but the wheels still both
