Nice work, I've got a dw200 waiting to go in mine
Cheers! Fits in the cradle no issues. I did have to chop the plugs off the cradle and solder on the plug that comes with the pump, but aside form that no issues! The fuel sock that also comes with the DW200 is a lot smaller in length, but I had already purchased an OEM sock which also fitted on perfectly.

Decided to replace the fuel pump with a Deatchwerkz DW200:
I don't think anyone has been under here for a very long time!
That fuel sock looks gross
Old with the old, in with the new!
Much nicer

So today I finally got my rear anti roll bar fitted, i’ve booked on Cadwell Park for the 6th of June so hopefully will be a lot better. Feels great in the B roads though.
I have my rear swaybar on the middle setting and I love it! It's really settled the rear end and I did find turn-in on the front end feels like it's sharpened up a bit. However I have terrible tyres and have not had a wheel alignment since I replaced my suspension.. so there is work to be done in that regard.

Over the weekend, the rear sway bar went in:

And I then jacked the car up and greased up the front sway bar bushes:

Even though it's miserable here and about to rain again, I gave it a much needed wash:

Thank you. Rims are coming off this weekend, I bought a set of kosei k1 replicas silver color.
My goals? well, after paint job I´ll try to buy new brakes, coilovers and then I´ll focus on new custom harness and ecu.
The car currently has FMIC, TD04, headers, Tial wastegate and fuel regulator, but stock ECU, so basically thats my plan.
Awesome! Don't forget to start a build thread to document your progress

That looks really nice! I am liking the black on black rims and body.
What are you goals for this ?

Bummer! Are the boxes hard to find?
In NZ, they do seem a bit harder to find, or I'm looking in the wrong places. For now I've figured out how to drive around 3rd gear being grindy by being very gentle

Small update:
- Found a knock caused by the bolt in the middle of the drivers top hat had managed to unwind itself
Yesterday I dropped the ol' girl off at the mechanics to have the following done:
- Gearbox swapped (Prey for me guys that is a goodie)
- Rear sway bar install
- Rear rear wheel bearing to be replaced
- o2 Sensor swapped with one I purchased from ID-Workz
- Gearbox is in, not much better, third gear grinds very loudly when shifting to it And you can just hear the input shaft bearing starting to go. Oh well, it is much quieter though!
- Mounts for the rear swaybar on the chassis side are too short and cause the swaybar to hit the rear subframe/cross member
- Rear wheel bearings replaced, but now we can hear the drivers side front bearing going
- o2 sensor happily swapped and working.
All in all, a bit gutted about the gearbox, I did try search for a new syncro but haven't had much luck yet.

I've got one ready to stick in my car, but not got round to it. Just has the same footprint as all the other pumps so shouldn't be an issue
I thought it would just be a simple wiring job and have the fuel sock face the right way.. easy (I hope)

Yeah remember them days Dan, shame the admins won't create anything to keep people in the forums
The local car forums here in NZ are the same, people just aren't interested in posting what they're doing.
People do seem to be quite helpful on Facebook though.. but it's not the same

Hi guys,
Am planning on upgrading the factory pump to a Deatschwerks DW200, I prefer them over the typical Walbro's, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone has used these before and whether the Universal one fits with out much issue??

Cheers!

Hey mate - fantastic so far. Love all the little touches.
I have a ton of questions for you if you don't mind:
What is the exact part number for the headlights and tail lights and number plate lights? And for the interior dome lights? Have you changed the dash board lights at all - any idea what those part numbers are? I want to replace all of mine with LEDs too.
Where did you get the gear boot from? And where can I find that beautiful splitter?
I'm posting from Auckland, New Zealand. Just picked one of these up with only 75,000 miles on it for a cool 740 pounds. 4 Speed manual. Trying to beautify it a fair bit and I'm digging yours.
For my Glanza V's dash, I used these:
and
I think I used two of these, but I bought 5 just in case.

Happy Easter everyone!
Yesterday I bought my first jack, however it's low on Hydraulic fluid, so I'm not going to use it until I can top it up and bleed it. I was hoping to do a simple tyre rotation but that can wait.
Instead, I decided to re-paint the plastic trim that sits around the front window wiper blades. Forgot to take a before picture, but it was very faded:

Gave the underside a quick once over with baby wipes.

I also dropped a 12mm socket and it fell down the drives side guard, so I jacked up that side of car and fished it out. Found that the ABS line was not bolted down on the chassis, so I fixed that up.

it this a mechanical or electric gauge? If it's electric you could unplug the sender + gauge from the power for 10 min and plug it back in and see if that helps. Sounds like the sender has crapped out.

-
Update for the sake of an update, The gauge fell off, so I'll screw it on.
I've also found a front lip that's now on it's way from Japan
-
Small update: mounted the boost gauge on the pillar where I've been wanting it for a while. Hopefully the double sided tape holds!

Car is back in my hands and boy does it feel good to have it back
This weekend my friend is picking up a gearbox for me, it's a non-LSD one, but for $100NZD (about 50 pounds) I can't complain. Fingers crossed it's in better condition! The seller said it shifted well and made no noises.

Just ask on the NZSC facebook page dude, there was a couple that came up recently.

Will do - just spotted a guy in Invers selling one from an EP82 - have inquired.

EP82 box will work. Infact almost any C series gearbox from behind an e series engine will work if you get desperate.
I've been keeping my eyes out on Trademe, but no luck so far
Hey would you have any ideas on where to look since you're a Kiwi too?
-
Hi guys,
It's looking possible that my gearbox may be needing to be replaced, however I have been unable to source a replacement from any wreckers where I live (NZ)
Are there manual gearboxes from other models that would suit?
