'95 EP82 GT TOMs C3r Alloys - Toyota ETC fitted Video
shorty replied to Starbuck's topic in EP80/EP82 Progress Blogs
Looking good dude, alloys are starting to realy grow on me and strange how the clear lenses have made the car look so different -
Hg isnt too bad a job dude, get yourself an athena if you replace the gasket as they have a silcone type sealing coating between layers so it seals realy well! Best hg ever imo and I've had cruise/zep ones before which where shite imo for the money. Chin up though is a mint v dude

andys thery is right tbf, id plug it in amd see if the car is a tad more agressive or if the rpm raises atal, you will kick your self otherwise lol. chances are its totaly stock but it could well be flashed from the factory as apose to using a slave unit to "trick" the ecu

well the ep8* jdm 100ps engines run 4efte style manifolds. and my ep85 na engine was nippy as fook! the later spec jdm na engines ran the corrola inlets but i dont belive they where the 100ps versions of the engine.

arp head bolts should be ok but alot off 2bar pluss lads eun arp studs as they are 10mm as apose to 8mm and studs are claimed to be better in engines than bolts. head gasket depends on compression ratio and boost levels, the cr can be altered many ways depending on what you are doing to the head. cams, billet cams are the only one that will drop straight in with minimal fuse but prices can be around 700-900 for a set depending on supplier. as for ratio of cam profile it will vary depending on boost and rev limits etc

Rear Strut Without Trimming / The Great Strut Debate
shorty replied to FreedomCore's topic in Chassis & Suspension
I dont need to justifiey the construction o my "mop handle" as you call it, its structual benifits are both proven throughout themodding scene and from its effectiveness on the car. As for tech discussions use the search, the disscusions on shim clearenve, valve spring base pressures, polished cranks, 4paw gear ratios and final drive alterations, retro fitting of phantom grip lsd units, etc etc go back to the uksc days. But hey you think what ya like bud. You seem to be the tech orical of ukso -
Rear Strut Without Trimming / The Great Strut Debate
shorty replied to FreedomCore's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Lmao!!! We have many tech chats on this forum, your talking about a hollow vs solid strut while others are talking about ingnition timing, port polishing and camless engines!! But to name a few of the recent topics. -
Idealy yep. Any form of fueling/ignition or mapping should be done with as much equipment as posable to aid the process
-
Never realy works though, do you leave feed back on ebay?? I dont tbh. And when it came in on tgtt every one just repped the shit out of thier mates and then couldnt be arsed to show appreciation for the helpful bunch. Rep point is what made me leave tgtt back in the day (among other things) as it gives the wrong impression to newer members imo.

Yes bud i am, i have cruise valve springs, 265 billet cams and a custom intake the same as the wepr demo car uses. My head was all done profesionaly by a head speacialist.
-
Lol yea my head is maxed out realy, I've alot of supporting mods to run with such a maxed head though.
-
Sorry just noticed you said your going for no cast marks and mild smooth, in which case the port should feel nice and smooth with no lumps or rough burs left, so id say yours is almost there realy
-
No where near to be fair bud and is best left to the very experienced or a specialist tbh, as the chambers should be balenced to give even flow. to give you an idea Exhuast (not a great pic but gives an idea) Inlet

i dont want to see whats gonna happen with this situattion. councils/housing assosiations are bastards!
